This is an excellent compact device that you hope you never have to use but could well help to save your life and others in an unfortunate event, I like the small robust case that it comes in too and the design of it with the small mouth piece and nose clip, it's super easy and straightforward to use if needed.I like to keep EDC survival and bushcraft first aid kits and this is a welcome addition to my safety equipment, I can easily carry it to the forest too in my backpack , it's super lightweight, the forest i use has had many forest fires in the past this could be a good piece of kit to keep on me during my camps.It's also an excellent piece of equipment for those working in industrial places , factories, warehouses , working near hazardous chemicals, definitely a good bit of kit to keep in your locker or first aid kit.Also people working in the building trade could benefit from owning one of these in their equipment.I like that it's fully approved and it could prove to be an invaluable and useful piece of equipment, I'm very pleased that I now have this in my EDC kit.

An incredibly useful tool for those “what-if” scenarios that comes in a small form factor. Having size as a focus really lets you carry this wherever and whenever.The case that the mouthpiece is situated in is nice and rigid. The mouthpiece itself looks to be fairly sturdy and of a good quality make. It is easy to put on, as it should be, and I find myself carrying one in my handbag at all times.Call me paranoid but it's better to be safe than sorry and since this mouthpiece is small, it doesn’t come at a hefty cost to space.It is advertised as having a six year lifespan until it requires maintenance which is a great value for money proposition. Definitely recommend, especially if you work in dangerous fields.

I do try and make sure that we have a stock of extinguishers and other things in the house just in case the worst happens. This is a useful addition to that as its not only compact but should provide some vital time in case of a fireGoing to house this in the emergency bagIt does have a 6 year shelf life too

This Dräger escape device could save your life in the worst of scenarios, and in my opinion you can't really put a price on that. The device is compact and well packaged, making it accessible in the case of an emergency. It is very well built and you can tell that it is a high quality bit of kit. it includes the mouthpiece as well as the nosepiece attached, ensuring that the flow of oxygen when worn is properly filtered and any toxic fumes/smoke is filtered straight out.5 stars and appropriate for both home and commercial use.Thank you for reading my honest review I hope you found it helpful! :)

I’m a firm believer in being prepared and for as many eventualities as possible and while this may bit of overkill, this palm sized multi-gas emergency escape filter seemed like a good bit of personal kit to have but it’s clearly aimed more towards industrial settings and larger numbers of bodies.In the event of an emergency situation, the filter purportedly gives you (at least) 10 minutes of protection from organic, anorganic gases & vapours.The filter has a 6 year shelf life, with the expiration clearly marked on the rear of the plastic housing. The construction of the unit seems to be of the high quality you’d expect from this manufacturer.I will be keeping mine in my emergency supplies bag in my car and while I’ll hopefully never need to use it, it will be there just in case.

A good device to have just in case of an emergency. It is larger than I expected but will still be easily stored somewhere handy without taking up too much room. It is lightweight.I would recommend to familiarise oneself with how to use it as it is not super simple. Once you've gone through the instructions it is easy to use and to remember how to use it. You wouldn't have time to read instructions in an emergency so do it in advance!!! Recommended.

This is a nice compact little unit. If you need it then it'll be the best seventy pounds you've ever spent.I wanted this as I'm disabled and recently spent a night in a hotel with the smallest corridors ever and would have needed an extra 10 minutes to get rescued.It says its for all kinds of gases but the images show smoke as well so I'm not sure if it covers that as well. I'll certainly give it a go if the worst was to happen.It feels very good quality and its best to familiarise yourself with how to use it in advance. Full instructions are included and its easy to fit.It will give you an extra 10 minutes over having nothing so what's not to like about this. It's obviously something you can't try until you need it but I'll recommend it based on the feel and functionality of it.

Als Fluchtgerät für den Brandfall aus dem zweiten OG (in der Wohnung gibt es eine grossflächige Wandvertäfelung aus Holz).Extrem handliches Gerät, vielseitig einsetztbar - werde ein weiteres Gerät ins Auto legen.Absolut empfehlenswert.

Das Dräger Parat 1260 ist ein kleines Atemschutzgerät für den Notfall. Ich hoffe zwar, dass wir nie in die Verlegenheit kommen, ein solches zu benötigen, aber sicher ist sicher (sonst bräuchte man ja auch keine Rauchmelder, Feuerlöscher, ...)Das Gerät ist in einer robusten Kunststoffbox, die man im Bedarfsfall öffnet, das darin befindliche, eingeschweißte Fluchtfiltergerät entnimmt, die Nasenklammer anlegt und das Mundstück in den Mund einsetzt.Lt. Hersteller bietet das Atemschutzgerät bis zu 10 Minuten Schutz gegen eine Vielzahl von Gasen und Dämpfen. Bei größeren Gebäuden ist das sicher auch notwendig. Für unseren angedachten (aber hoffentlich nie notwendigen) Einsatzzweck zur Verhinderung bzw. Verringerung der Einatmung giftiger Rauchfase bei einem Brand oder ähnlichem in unserem Wohnhaus wird die Zeitspanne der Verwendung aber sicher viel kürzer sein. Aber gut zu wissen, dass es länger halten würde.Der Filter ist sechs Jahre haltbar, wenn die Schutzhülle unversehrt bleibt. Rezension für das Dräger Parat 1260 AtemschutzgerätEin sehr wichtiger Atemschutzfilter für den Fall von dem man sich wünscht, dass er nie eintreten wird.Gerade bei einem Gerät, dass voraussichtlich nie oder nur 1x irgendwann zum Einsatz kommt, ist die Größe für die Akzeptanz und die Unterbringungsmöglichkeit sehr wichtig.Das Dräger Atemschutzgerät ist insofern exakt so klein konzipiert, wie man es sich wünscht. Es findet in einer gekapselten und versiegelten Box seinen festen Platz direkt griffbereit an unserer Garderobe. Wegen der geringen Größe dürfte es aber auch ideal für den mobilen Einsatz am Gürtel oder im Fahrzeug sein.Den einzigen Nachteil sehe ich darin, dass es ein Verfallsdatum von 6 Jahren gibt. Diese Zeit vergeht manchmal schneller, als es einem bewusst ist und dann wird es sehr schade sein, den wahrscheinlich unbenutzten Filter entsorgen zu müssen. Insbesondere wegen des nicht ganz günstigen Preises tut das einem schon weh.Das Verfallsdatum von 6 Jahren gilt übrigens nur bei ungeöffnetem Gerät. Wenn der Filter aus der Box und dem Beutel entnommen wurde und dann doch nicht benutzt wird, verkürzt sich das Verfallsdatum in der Regel auf ein halbes Jahr.Das Gerät ist zwar recht teuer, auf die gesamte Lebensdauer berechnet aber nur etwas mehr als 1 Euro pro Monat.
