I bought these for my Vive wand controllers so I didn't have to keep fumbling around with annoying one-way MicroUSB to charge them all the time. This comes with 2x of three different kinds of tips (2x MicroUSB, 2x USB-C, and 2x Lightning). The cables seem durable enough and the magnetic connection is strong enough for quick connect & charge. The magnet is not strong enough to stay connected during use, so plan appropriately. My only confusion about the product is why they felt the need to have two different length cables. I would have preferred two same length cables.

I have had a set for over a year and you will need to keep them clean.They will attract tiny pieces of metal as they will interfere with the connection and will need to be removed from time to time. The easiest way to do that is with a compressor and a blow nozzle. Or you can use BlueStik.The connection to the device has delicate landings so DO NOT blow full pressure air; it will bend a contact and, then, it will need replacement.Do not press BlueStik in with a lot of pressure; moderate pressure is fine. It can pull/blow a contact off or out of alignment and will need to be replaced. If your device has a case removing them is a delicate process; you really do not want to mess up the port on your device. I just connect it and pull straight out a couple times and they, eventually, pull out attached to the cord.The charging cord is not as delicate but catches more pieces of metal...Also, you will need one for the car.But if you can keep them clean they are great.

The great thing about this magnetic charging cable is no exposed pins. the problem with some of these is the magnet can attract metal shavings if it hits two exposed pins you have a problem (can catch on fire). The wires on this cable are recessed so I have not had any problems with these.

This is the best thing ever! The light is a little bright, but it works so well! I will never go back to manual plugs. You won't be sorry for THIS purchase!!!
