This microphone was just what I was looking for to capture accurate vocals with low background noise, no "tinny" qualities, just a pure voice for narration, voice-overs, etc. It has excellent sound capture at a reasonable sitting distance from the microphone.One nice feature of this mic is that you can control the pick-up of sound from behind the mic. That is, you can have it be unidirectional to pick up sound only from the front or you can set it to be omnidirectional and pick up sound from both the front AND the back. For instance, if you were doing an interview.An additional feature is that you can patch your monitoring headphones through the base of the mic and control the volume of the headphones from the front of the mic.The microphone has a nice weight and balance to it and is pretty sturdy. It will sit pretty firmly on the desk and is not easily prone to being knocked over.It's VERY easy to set up - it's plug-and-play in Windows 10. Once plugged in, Windows will immediately recognize it and you can then control the settings from the sound control panel in windows.The manual it comes with is pretty decent and the instructions are clear. It comes with a foam cover that will help reduce very light wind noise or breathing. It doesn't come with a pop filter which would have been a nice addition and perhaps the only thing I'm disappointed about. My "s" sounds are a little harsh and a pop filter would help that a lot. I have one I can use with it, but one that matches and attaches to the microphone would've been nice.The best part is perhaps the color... it's a pretty rose pink that really brightens up the desk!! I can definitely recommend this microphone if you're looking for something attractive yet sturdy with great sound quality!

My wife loves pink. Were it possible, she'd have every one of her tech devices in pink. Fortunately for her, the market is realizing that there are plenty of women playing video games, creating content, etc. As a result, there are more and more tech devices being made in pink. Obviously, I had to order this microphone for her--she needed one and she wanted a pink one.I ordered this for the color but it turns out that it's not a bad microphone for what it is. It has the basic features you'd expect in a mid level microphone intended for voice communication (podcasting, video calls, etc). This isn't the sort of microphone you'd have in a professional recording studio, nor does it try to be. You can choose between Cardioid and Omnidirectional modes depending on your specific needs and it has a built in headphone jack. Nothing fancy, but it sounded just fine in my voice recording tests. My computer recognized it immediately when I plugged it in and worked great with my Ubuntu OS.Did I mention it was pink? Kudos to the manufacturer for not skimping on the 'pinkness'. The windscreen and USB cable are both the same color pink as the microphone. It would have been easy to have thrown in a generic black cable and been done with it but I appreciate this type of attention to detail. If you're in the market for a pink microphone for podcasting or similar vocal recording this is a solid choice.

We got this for our teenage son who spends a lot of time online gaming and in discussion groups. We didn't have a lot of expectations with the price point on this microphone, but it looked really neat and our son likes the pink, makes it easy to spot among all the typical black computer equipment.It was packaged with lots of good foam layers, with a mold in it so we can keep it and store the microphone in it when not in use or it or for transporting it. The instructions are fantastic with multiple languages and good explanations.Our son relayed: I did have some trouble at first with it cutting off my sound when I don't have a headset that can plug into the microphone, but that can be worked around by just looking at the instructions, specifically pages 3 and 4. It looks and feels amazing; it is not light but not too heavy either. It is easy to carry but you wont knock it off by accident and has good sound controls.Sound Quality - I never have seen anything this good before, I have a loud fan running in my background all the time and this microphone completely cuts the fans sound out while still being able to pick my voice a few inches away even if I am whispering and makes my voice clear to anyone listening. The microphone is so good that people don't even know I am whispering and the feedback I get from is that it sounds great to anyone listening. I cannot rate the attaching of my headset to the microphone as my headset is a wireless that uses a USB to put into my computer, but overall is the best microphone I have ever had and I doubt I will ever find one better!

I do like the look of this mic. So many of these gaming focused mics look really similar to each other so I like when companies go in a different direction. The build quality is fine for the price. The stand has weight to it and feels well built and the grill is cool looking/well constructed. The plastic body is what reminds you that this is a more budget product. Cheap feeling and the adjustment dials aren't very satisfying, but they do get the job done. It has a built in windscreen underneath the grill so the extra one isn't really necessary to me and the mic looks much better without it. Though some may want the extra filtering.I tested it out on a PC and PS5 and they both detected it without issues. You can actually use it as a full headphone solution for PS5 since the game audio does come through the mic with the headphones port (though you will hear your own voice back as was intended). The headphone monitoring works well enough. The sound quality is good with the cardioid pattern, not so much with the omnidirectional so I wouldn't bother with that mode. I have heard better sounding mics around this price but this will work for most people. I would say 3.5/5.

I use an external mic for all of my online meetings, and I really wanted something that looked cooler than the average modern mic. This retro mic is perfect! Love the color and it's built well. One issue I regularly have is when my pets play near my desk and the person on the other end has to listen to all the scuffling and occasional barking. This mic picks up the barking if they're close enough to me, but the rest of the noise they make hasn't been an issue.I think this would be a great mic for kids or anyone who needs good sound quality along with a cool style.
