GraftobianLoose Powder 5 oz Translucent Face Powder Guaranteed Authentic, New and Fresh

Ok, so I have spent LOTS of money on all of the "high end" brands over the years ($20/oz. here, $40/oz. there) and there's always something I don't care for but tolerate. Some "translucent" powders lighten your foundation, some are too heavy and look cakey, some just downright don't set. Anyway, I somehow stumbled across this and thought I'd give it a shot because I've blown money on everything else. And I'm STOKED that I did! This stuff is great! It is almost truly translucent, only ever so slightly lightening my foundation. It provides an awesome barrier against water/sweat. And I'm not sure what magic forces are at play here, but it manages to wipe out shine while still allowing my foundation to keep its glow.The container is a huge 5oz and has no sifter, so I spooned some into an empty Dermablend jar to make life less messy.

One of the best translucent setting powders out there in the makeup market. I used to use Makeup Forever HD powder on my clients, but it had a bit of flashback, especially on tan/darker skin tones. Then, I remembered Graftobian from way back in the day I went to makeup school and looked it up here on Amazon. And the size of Graftobian Loose Powder I got has 14 times more product (141gr or 5oz) at a fraction of the cost of Makeup Forever (around $50 for 10gr or 0.30 oz). Graftobian, Kryolan, Ben Nye, are among the makeup brands that do what they’re supposed to do, with very little pomp and circumstance: they are excellent, solid, professional makeup lines that perform best, on set and otherwise. And you cannot beat the price point between Graftobian and other popular setting powders, such as Laura Mercier. Think of it as buying the store brand in bulk, of something you use a lot of, every day. I highly recommended this setting powder which, by the way, has a special one for darker complexions. Note: please BE CAREFUL no to get confused between Translucent and Clown White, as they look almost exactly alike in their packaging. Happy powdering!

I have to say I was extremely surprised to find this powder as good as it is. I have been using setting powder for years and have tried many different brands. The only one I have repurchased was Makeup Forever HD. This is just as good, maybe even a little lighter in texture, and you get a huge 5oz container for a fraction of the price of the high end brand. Can't believe it took me so long to find this.!

I got this and several other Graftobain products to complete my husbands Yandu costume. Use a good primer and a damp blending sponge for application. Finish with the Graftobian translucent powder and you’ll be set...literally, cause it’s a setting powder. Highly recommend, can’t even count how many people wanted his picture.
