Along the way we meet Stew her fiancée, Jess her best friend, Juliette, the to die for Evan and a host of other characters who are either loveable, frustrating or annoyingly well placed to tell the story of grey mouse meets world of glitz and glamour.Amazing how 5 days away from your regular life can lead to drastic realisations and changes.Its so easy to fall into habit, so much harder to fall back out of it.Gorgeous story, well written and put together.

This rom com is perfect escapism.I totally fell in love with this modern day Cinderella story with its laugh out loud moments and brilliant characters who are relatable and entertaining.I need to be friends with Jess and Fran and I swooned over Evan. One of my favourite moments was Evan’s comparison of life to a jigsaw and I think that will stick with me for a while.This isn’t just a romance, this is a story about friendship and self-discovery and I loved every moment. Another triumph from Lindsey Kelk.

Gorgeously sparkling romantic comedy about wishes, friendships and finding love in the most unexpecting moments. I absolutely adore Lindsey's books. There is warmth, hilarity and characters you want instantly to become friends with.Always comes highly recommend!

I don't really know where to start other than saying that I wish I was a better writer because I know my review won't do this book justice. It was far fetched perfect escapism.Evan was an out of this world perfect leading guy. Fran was so lovely and I thought the progression of her getting stronger as a person was brilliant. Jess, Juliette and Lenny did their jobs as secondary characters to perfection.Please, please, please let this be the start of a new series. I love Fran & Evan so much, I need to know what happens in their future!

I could not put this down. Kelk got the perfect balance between every day life and fairy tale romance that sweeps you along at a rate of knots. The references to songs and romcoms is perfect for tying it altogether.

I only gave this farcical story four stars because it was so uplifting! There were some grammatical howlers, which should have been picked up by the editorial team, but I was swept along on a ludicrous tide of the heroine's hair-raising ducking and diving antics between triumphs and disasters. Of course it's chick lit, but it's good fun and will raise the most jaded post-Christmas spirits.

I absolutely love this book. It has great friendship, romance and also good self help! Mixed in with the amazing Kelk humour. Overall the combination is just perfect.
