I used these hoops to construct a chicken tunnel to connect our coop to a fenced in run. I wove them through 48" tall 50' long chicken wire fencing. the larger size hoops worked best for this. These are thick plastic coated metal and seem as if they will last a long time. Very pleased!

I bought these for my raised garden beds as I move into fall/winter gardening.My raised garden beds are 2’ x 4’ in size and the 2 foot size worked perfectly. As my crops grow, I think three every 4 feet is about right in order to keep the row covers from sagging.I was concerned when I first received them because the tips I thought would pull off easily, but a good tug and I found that they stayed in place.Hoops are a nice weight, and I particularly like the green rubber coating, as I don’t have to worry about rust in the greenhouse.I expect that I will get many years of use from these and consider them a good purchase.

I read the description of this item over and over. 4ft. My guess is that if the poles are stretch out, they may measure 4ft. They are soooo much smaller than expected. I haven't used them. I am coming up with different ways to use them other than the reason I purchased them Was so looking forward to receiving them to extend at least 4ft. They stretch maybe 2ft. wide. Appear very strong and sturdy. They are apprx. 2ft or so tall. I had planned to use then to place a blanket over my garden. Some of my plants are taller than these hoops, however.

Misleading sizing. These are 4 foot from tip to tip on the rod. Not 4 feet gap at arch foot. The arch foot is only about a foot and a half across. You can hear the small metal rod inside these hoops rattling around. One of them warped in the middle. Not worth the money.

Perfect size. Going to add dowels crosswise and bird netting.

Very sturdy, yet flexible. Wanted to protect young lavender plants (5” high) from freezing temperatures. I could have gone with a smaller size but can get more use with the larger size. You can always push them further into the ground to reduce air space. Our field soil is a bit firm so I predrilled holes and inserted them into the ground about 4” because we live in a windy area. The pointed ends are a nice feature. They held up better than my frost cloth after a heavy snow. I swept the snow off. So far so good.

These came in handy with the recent freezing frost. They helped me protect my garden.

Easy to use but not high enough
