YKZ 3 in 1 Magnetic C to C Cable 4 Pack, Magnet Type C to Type C Charging Cable, [3.3FT+6.0FT] PD 60W Fast Charger Nylon Braided Cord for Type C/MicroUSB and i-Product

I have used this brand, YKZ, exclusively, for years and I have bought extra adapters so every device I have uses these cables.I JUST bought some USB-C adapters in October but they will not work with these cords.You must use the adapters that come with it and they have a couple issues:They will not negotiate with the USB-A cords and the Lightning adapters that goes to my iPhone will not negotiate any charge with any combination of the new USB-C cords and accompanying adapters.My lightning airpods pro will not negotiate in any mixed combination on, but all is fine with the USB-C pair.The new adapters are in the cases with rings.Not really happy the adapters are not backwards compatible and even recently bought adapters are not compatible.*Update*I was using an inline voltage meter to test the cords and adapters and it appears it was indiscriminatingly interfering with the negations.After accidentally grabbing this cord and finding it working I used a higher quality meter and everything PD negotiated.Everything is working now.To YKZ's credit:They did reach out and offer to refund or help troubleshoot my issues.

This has three very strong benefits:1: durability -- You know those people who leave their phones at the edge of the table with the charging cable hanging off the side? And how the cable dies after about a month of this? By adding a magnetic break point, this cable does not suffer from this problem. After months of constant use and abuse, this cable shows no signs of wear.2: versatility -- With several types of plugs for one cable, I only need one cable to charge a variety of devices. No need to keep 3 different cables on hand from years past.3: ease of use -- sometimes plugging a device in when it's dark can be a pain, but not with these. Just get close enough and it snaps into place. No more fumbling for the right angle to plug things in.Downsides:-- Contacts can be damaged. One of the set was damaged from the factory, so I imagine that it can happen under normal use too. Because this is unique hardware, it is not super easy to just replace one little plug.-- The magnet is strong enough to support the cable (that's good), but to do that, it is strong enough to pull the plug out of the device if pulled just right. If you're in a hurry and just yank the phone off the cable, the plug can come out. It will usually be stuck on the cable, but in the right situation, it can go flying off (we found it stuck to the car door a month later).

The cables arrived and upon initial inspection they seem to be well made. Thus far the cables have been used with an assortment of Apple/Samsung usb-C chargers as well as a 100w usb-C charger that I travel with as an extra laptop charger. The cables have worked flawlessly since we purchased the first set about a month ago.The only issue that I have experienced was my son submerging his i-phone/connector and after drying he was unable to get the connector to work again. I found one of the pins was discolored and simply cleaned it with a pencil eraser and it has worked properly since.I only gave the product 3 stars for value because of the products incompatibility with the company's usb-A cable magnetic connectors and cables. My family and I were trying to simplify our charging routines and equipment by making any charger/cable used in our daily routines compatible with each other and had high hopes, but ended up disappointed when trying to get the usb-A cables needed in our cars to work with the original connectors. Instead we ended up purchasing a second set of the usb-C cables along with usb-C to A adapters. I would have given 5 stars if their products were interchangeable. I hope that this helps especially since it's so long winded!

This is the second revision of this company’s magnetic charging cables and while the orange colored first version were great, these are absolute garbage. The magnets don’t hold on to the cables at all because the cables are too heavy so you can’t pick up whatever device is charging without the cable disconnecting and falling to the floor, they charge slowly, and the hard plug side (wall plug end) comes loose and just stops working after apparently three months. Bizarrely enough the charging light on the cable still lights up even after the end tip has come loose and lost its ability to function.0/10 quality, wouldn’t recommend to buy.

The cables are a good quality and charge fast, but the magnet connection is not very strong so it is best used for stationary devices with plenty of slack

One of the best magnetic charger, its fast, reliable cable and good options for any phone. Best support incase of issues. Happy customer here...Update after 6 months of use with whole house using same product.I bought around 20 of base plugs and enough cables so I can use the same across all the devices at home. But after 6 months half of them are not usable.The outer layer got dents from just the pin dropped to floor (3-4 feet), and now those won't go in to base plugs. I had to use micro nose player to bring the dents back out so that they can be useable again. See the pics and those are not mishandled, they just hit the cables pin side down while the other (USB C ) side was in my hand, which can happen to 80% customers.. this can be fixed by making the outer ring little more thick and reducing the thickness of base plug, so that the overall circumference of pin can be kept same.Another thing I noticed with apple iPad is that they stop charging as reported by some customers. But it's not the cable, but apple's software interfere with charging. If I take out the base plug from iPad and put it back it start work again for next 2-3 weeks.If these are fixed these can be one of the best magnetic pins for USB c in amazon..

I bought a bunch of these and they really work great. Super strong magnet snaps it into theright position. I use these a lot and they really work great.
