YETI Sidekick Dry

TLDR; This thing is great.It’s extremely well built, totally water, sand, dust and dirt proof. Perfect for camping or the country club. I added nice belt/shoulder strap and this is one area improvements could be made. The webbing on the back is low on the pouch. This means any weight in it causes the bag to fall forward. This is sort of annoying both when used as a fanny/shoulder bag, which is obviously not the intended use, but also when put it on the front of my cooler bag - which is what it is designed for. It’s not clear why the webbing attachement is so low on the bag. Other than this design miss, it’s a great, versatile, and relatively inexpensive-for-what-you-get pouch, pack, bag. It’s very stylish in that Yeti sort of way, and very well made. Perfect fit for phone, wallet, glasses and book.

I carry this with me everywhere I go. I have ot with me when I am in Ethiopia, especially during the rainy season to protect my electronics and food when the downpour begins. Most of my bags are water resistant, this is a just incase item, that has saved me on many occasions. One time it saved my expensive camera equipment. It can even attach to most bags that have MOLE attachments.

I use my Hopper Flip 8 as a lunchbox everyday for work. It’s a great cooler but there are no extra pockets for storage, so I bought the Yeti Sidekick to go with it.It works great, looks great, is fairly easy to attach to the cooler, and gives me plenty of extra storage that the cooler itself lacks.The build quality is like all other Yeti products … overbuilt and very sturdy.Absolutely no complaints and I plan on getting another one to go with my Yeti Hopper M30.

Absolutely amazing. Not a drop of water will go inside this thing even in the ocean. Very good the material and just everything. The color is awesome. Just buy buy buy!

I got the color I wanted and is able to transfer across all of my Yeti bags. Phones, keys, wallet, bottle opener…it holds them all when I’m outdoors.

Per Yeti’s literature this is supposed to be waterproof. I received it and noticed right away that when you close it you can still press and air will escape. If air can escape while closed, water can then get it because of the vacuum created inside.I filled a container with water, stored a paper towel inside the bag, closed it and then pressed it to get the air out. Left it floating for 20 minutes and saw that the vacuum indeed sucked in a bunch of water. Paper towel was completely drenched.This bag is water resistant, but if you’re doing water sports and need to keep your gear safe from submersion this bag is NOT recommended

Bought this little bag to go with my Hopper Flip 12. Fits perfectly with the straps, and holds all sorts of goodies. Phones, wallets, sunglasses, lip gloss, keys, etc etc. Waterproof and tough. Very happy with this little add on!

if you go out near the water/ on the water a lot, this is great - my husband builds custom jet boats and is often out with lots of paper work/ phone/ wallet - this is the best dry bag ever, lots of room for everyones things and stays dry! We've yet to be disappointed by and YETI product and we have many.

Perfect color match. Strong material with effective magnets. I find the attachment system sloppy it tends to catch on things when moving it about. We used the flip for an inside the cab beverage cooler for a long road trip and took off the sidekick the 2nd day. It would be better suited for outdoor use like fishing or in the back of a canoe (as was intended- just not the use I had for it)

Good buy. The magnet makes it close nice and snug. Well made and easy to install. Good quality.
