Q: Will this plug into a standard amplifier jack?

No. It's a condenser mic, so it needs phantom power or a preamp to operate, and plugs into a 3-pin xlr connector.

Q: How does wireless adapter work?

You would need an XLR transmitter/receiver set to make it wireless. The transmitter would be hooked up to the XLR adapter, which is pictured on the left (with the built-in clip).

Q: Do you feel like there is enough headroom before feedback starts?

It seems to be the same headroom as any other mic; it'll depend on how much space is between you and your amp/PA/monitor(s) as well as how much reverberation your instrument produces. When I use it in a small room for recording, this mic feedbacks with about the same headroom as my studio mic would.

Q: I just purchased one and tried to use a xlr to 1/4" jack to get it connected to my amp. but, it doesn't work. do you know why?

You will need to add a 48volt Phantom Power Supply box between the microphone and your amp. I do live sound mixing, and the mixer panels I use have the 48v Phantom Power built in, so I can't recommend a particular one, but basic Phantom Power Supply boxes are readily available on Amazon and your local music store. Make sure you get a Phantom Power "Supply," not a Phantom Powerable DI box which only converts 1/4 high-Z signal to balanced XLR signal. Hope that helps.
