Has a fishy smell. I had to hand wash it 4 times before using. I think some color came off since the water was greenish. But my son is happy to have it for gaming.

Wrong size
I received a mat that was ~ 24in x 14in, and only 1.65mm thick.I could cut it down to the advertised 18x12, but it would still be nearly half the advertised thickness, and the printed design would be cropped.On the plus side, the printing and fabric seem to be high quality. The underside is textured rubber, It's not a closed cell neoprene foam.
