The name for this design is 'Birds on a Wire' which honestly does not do them justice. But then the simple country flavor does. I purchased these for my bread making area on my coffee bar. I've got a French Country style to my kitchen, and these enhance that, along with just make me smile. I love to hear the birds in the Springtime! I'll open the doors and windows to just listen to the birdsong. And maybe that's what I would have named this design. Bird Song. I like this design so much, I'll pick up the matching kitchen towel and place mat sets!I just wish that they would put their 'Basse-cour' country rooster design onto place mats.Ok, I've waxed on long enough about loving the design. Let's get down to practicality.This is a set of an oven mit and pot holder. They are nicely cushioned and provide enough thickness to them that you're not rushing the 400 degree bread pan out of the oven to clank on the counter. This cushions you from the heat so you can comfortably remove items from the oven, or the bread pan from the bread maker.There are loops on both to hang them nearby. It’s really pretty but way to big for a woman’s hand, my hand.

This oven mitt and pot holder combo are a better deal than buying each individually. I ordered 2 of these sets. I wanted something basic for my kitchen, but not too overbearing/loud with 'color'. With these, I can coordinate a variety of colors with other towels, rugs, decor, etc. These held up fine in the wash as well and are very durable. However, for drying purposes, I dried mine in the dryer for about 10 minutes, then I laid flat to dry. I tested one in the dryer for a full 70-minute cycle and found that while it did hold up well after a full dryer cycle, I had to re-form it to its' original shape. I'm not sure how they'll dry over time, but if it were me, I would wash in the washer, then lay flat to dry. I have had people ask me if these are from Anthropologie - they definitely look like something that would be sold there, but a much better value here on Amazon. Overall, great buy, worth your money, and love the pattern.

There are so pretty. They are as thick as they should be to protect your hand. And they look so colorful and happy.

I bought these for my almost finished remodeled kitchen. They are so pretty and look just like the photos. Would make great gifts, too.
