Read every review of this prior to pulling the trigger on it. Chose "Sandalwood" scent Kit but Lime Balm. Seconds after it arrived I immediately unboxed it due to all the comments of them leaking or previously opened. All was brand new w seals and security tape. Perfect.Shampoo & conditioner were perfect size to try out and would advise doing so unless you know the scent already. No Burlap Bag as seen in comments, great little aluminum Zues box perfect for gifting. Brush is nice, no strands came use on initial use. Shampoo does in fact lather up good, and conditioner is same consistency as regular hair stuff used in shower. Oil is definitely oil and a bit greasy, but spreads in well. It does harden up on beard after an hour. Swore I read it made hair softer, but after conditioner it was nice and soft!ONLY negative I can think of is the superman strength of the Sandalwood scent. Wife walked in front door asking what the smell was all the way upstairs! It's seriously strong so choose wisely since they have to be opened for you to smell. I'd highly suggest buying smallest bottles/kit you can if you or wife has nose of a bloodhound. The brush is nice but if you have a bigger/ thicker beard it will definitely not get thru the hair. A comb is needed for sure.All in all I'm pleased with this kit so far, but then again I've only done it once - First beard kit! Again, great gift for the money and I look fwd to seeing how the Lime Balm smells next time around. Right on Zues!

I've never let my beard grow in as much as I have during this shelter-in-place so wanted to take a more serious approach to caring for and grooming it. After much research decided I'd give Zeus a try and couldn't be happier with the products and results.This kit came with almost all I wanted to try without buying too many accessories or breaking the bank. I added a Vanilla Rum beard balm as I knew from previous experience that beard oil alone isn't enough to get my beard to "lay well". The shampoo and conditioner have made a real difference and my beard just looks and smells cleaner than using regular shampoo (which tends to strip the oils you want to retain in a beard).My fear, especially with the expense of kits and/or individual products, was that I would go through them quickly thus making maintaining a beard an expensive proposition. However, as the bottles point out and I can attest, you only need a small amount each time.My only "complaint" is that the soft-bristle brush is too soft for my beard. I thought, based on amount of growth, that this was what I needed but I think my beard would be better served by a medium or firm brush they sell. That was my bad but I didn't know any better.

I have always been in an industry that required that I be clean shaven everyday. Now that I have a job that doesn't have such requirements, I was ready to embark on the journey of growing a beard. I figured, "How hard could it be? I just don't have to shave and I'll have a great beard." As I went week after week without shaving, my skin under my beard became extrememly irritated, I had numerous ingrown hairs, and my beard pretty much hurt to the touch. Then I realized that the hardest part had yet to come...sifting through all of the available products out there!I wanted something that was in "kit" form because I was new to all of this, and wanted something that was inclusive of everything I needed. After searching through numerous pages on Google and Amazon, I stumbled upon the Zeus Deluxe Kit. It had the brush (which I desperately knew I needed due to how tangled my beard was getting), shampoo, conditioner, and beard oil.For those of you saying that you don't need beard specific shampoo and conditioner, God bless you. You're either incredibly lucky in that your skin isn't as sensitive as mine, or your dumb. With the help of the brush, shampoo, and conditioner, my beard has become very soft (which my girlfriend loves) and it has been rid of all of the tangles and ingrown hairs.The best had yet to come...the beard oil. I was a little nervous about this becuase I knew nothing about it. Again, I read up on how best to apply/use the beard oil, and it's now my best friend. It has made my beard shiny, but most of all, it has rid my face of all of the dryness, itchiness, redness, and irritation.My beard is growing well, looking good, and best of all, it doesn't hurt! I have this kit to thank for all of that. If you're looking for a great kit, look no further. I'm taking the time to write a review for this stuff, which says a lot because I NEVER write reviews!!!

Not only do these products make you look good, they make you feel like a god around mere mortal men. Your beard will flow and glisten with the slightest mountain breeze. The conditioner will make your mane feel softer than a cub bears first winter coat. Don't even get me started on the oil! The sent is strong yet subtle, a refreshing kick of lime will wake your wiry tangled untamed glory, and make it look like spring cleaning on your face!I've used these products for only one week and already impregnated an entire village. It is as if Zeus himself is giving you his almighty beard powers!If you have a beard and do not buy this product immediately, quite frankly you do not deserve to have a beard.

Got this for my boyfriend and he loved it, but when I got it in the mail the box it came in was all dented and bashed in. I felt bad having to give him a damaged present because I would have returned or exchanged it, but there wasn’t enough time before his birthday. Really disappointed on how mangled it looked especially for how pricey it was. I tried to take some pictures of what it looked like but it was hard to capture all the dents and scrapes on the paper.

Like this product and works great for keeping my hair in control, it like to be dry, twist in a 1000 different directions and feel "wirey" the product keeps it smooth, im not expecting miracles but this is doing well, i dont feel a need to try another.To be completely honest and upfront, I thought I was allergic to either the oil or the brush (im allergic to cats so maybe) so I tried a competitive product thinking it was something in your product but I had the same feeling but a little less. Long story short I am now sure all it was is that the product was/is stimulating the blood in my face/head and felt light headed and "out of it" a little at first but not at all now, not to say im just getting used to it. I write this incase someone else buy this product, has the same feeling, blames Zeus but really it seems to work better than the more expensive competitive product, its all in your head haha

I bought this for my boyfriend, and he absolutely loves it! When I first opened the box, I was blown away with the presentation as well as the quality and smell. I would highly recommend the Sandalwood scent for those who are unsure of which one to pick. The brush is a must have, and the cloth sack is the best way to tie everything together. The sizes and amounts of the product really go a long way, because they are so effective with just a small amount. I will definitely be purchasing from Zeus again, their products are fantastic.

I got this kit for my husband for Christmas and unfortunately the bread oil leaked all over itself and everything else in the box. It was sealed but the lid under the seal was not on properly. Once he opened the bottle the dropper was broken and the bottle was less than half full. Obviously he cannot use the oil now as there is broken glass inside. Given the cost of the oil itself it's very unfortunate. However, the sandalwood scent is amazing and my husband is excited to try the shampoo and conditioner out.

I love Zeus's products. Unfortunately, the Sandalwood product didn't work for me. It made my beard super dry. I've used Zeus's Vebana lime product, it did not disappoint me.
