This Stuff Works!
If you are looking for sticky tape to place around your trees to repel those nasty Spotted Lantern Flies, this is the product.I think we are in month two of this product on our trees and have experienced fickle weather from torrential downpour to miserable humidity. The tale is still on the trees and still sticky. When you apply the tape, you are going to want to use disposable gloves and it is best to use a pin or nail to keep the ends of the tape on the tree.

Works as a tree wrapping to catch young lantern flies.
I live in PA and used this to wrap my tree to catch lantern flies. It works as intended and has caught a ton of the little buggers already. I'm not sure if it will work once the adults start showing up, but it does an excellent job at catching the young ones.

Is this the stickiest tape on earth?
Lantern Flies are a big deal in my area, and I'm sure this will get them. (They are just beginning to hatch.) . This stuff sure has the stickiness to trap anything, but man, I could use some application tips. My hands were coated with goo; I would think any gloves you might wear will adhere to the tape, as well. Alcohol does not remove the glue...maybe acetone? We didn't have any, so I ended up using that orange-scented adhesive remover... and a lot of it! Your knife/scissor blade will also be coated, so be forewarned...a knife with a break-off blade might be best. Of course, the blade tip is gonna stick to your pliers when you snap it off..... Maybe some kind of dowel stuck through the center of the roll would make wrapping the trunk easier....

Spotted Lanterfly Trap That Works
This is working like a charm. Despite several major rainstorms these are catching the lanternfly nymphs left and right. Everyone should be using these to help in the fight to eradicate this pest. They stuck all over my hands if I wasn’t careful while applying them, but as long as I was careful they were easy to get in place. I put them high up in the tree and down at eye level. They are very effective as you can see in the photos. The little black and white spotted bugs in the photos are the lanternfly nymphs.

Talk about sticky !!!
Insects hate it. It's great insurance if you worry about bugs coming close to food. Warning : wear rubber gloves when applying.

Keep looking
This is the worst product I've ever purchased. Not only is it ineffective, it is extremely difficult to work with. Comes on a tiny roll with no backing, hard to cut, ruins any surface it touches. I want my money back!Try tanglefoot instead!

Sticky but great
This ribbon is certainly sticky. I pulled it the length of my pens' fencing. Within a few days it was so covered that I had to make a second row of the ribbon along the fences. That row is now black and I should make a third row. It is really good stuff but I hate the stickiness that I get covered in.

It works fine. My only problem is figuring out a way ...
I used this product to kill soil gnats. It works fine. My only problem is figuring out a way to cut it into smaller pieces for individual pots. It is very sticky. Would work great in one long streamer behind my pots. Next year I will try that.
