Good bookseller - every thing as promised

Prepare for a moving read
Very good, one of the last chances to enjoy first-hand reminiscences from those who flew in this historically neglected aircraft.

Very sloppy presentation
The very interesting story of Wellington operations and their crews' recollections ruined by no proof reading at all. Very many spelling mistakes, some duplicate text and the occasional factual error.

Lots of words but not much content. This book ...
Lots of words but not much content. This book gives absolutely nothing new in way of historical information. The idea of voices in flight, I had hoped was to hear from those who actually operated, there is very little of that. Another "empty" book from the Bowman production factory, quality please over quantity!

Not very good at all - avoid
Dense and lots of text and a nicely presented hardback, but not very readable. Seems like a list of operations taken from an official archive somewhere and then regurgitated. A low proportion of oral history here, and none of which seems to be from a primary source.Worst of all the editing and copy-reading - absolutely terrible. It doesn't look as though anyone reviewed the raw text before it went to the printers. There are many instances of repeated phrases and half paragraphs, sometimes on the same page, sometimes in different chapters. One read-through would have got most of these. What could have been an interesting history is nothing more than a shameful waste of paper.
