Plug and play, works perfect with my Sounddock II !
I have an old Sounddock II that I wanted to use as a computer speaker, but I could not get any of the bluetooth adapters to work properly. I bought this adapter to plug my Sounddock right into my laptop aux port, which gives me great sound for streaming music, videos, and live sports. It is working great so far!

It Works!
First time I plugged it in -- it didn't work...but then when I read someone else's review that said to plug in the AUX end FIRST - it worked!!! (Thanks to that person).My ancient BOSE IPOD speaker, which was destined for the landfill, now works..and it sounds amazing!
