Great lens!
Usually I find it hard to like ultra-wide lenses, but this lens is great! I use it on a7R IV and I am surprise with the great results - it doesn't have the distorted look which is typical to ultra-wide lenses and it does have the Zeiss look.I also used it during event with a lot of light sources in different colors (and colors are changed all the time). Usually I get a big mess in such conditions, but this Loxia has a magic and even under such conditions, the photos look great!Thanks to this lens I am using 21mm more and more and I start liking it...

Déception
Zeiss n'est plus vraiment le label qu'il était. Pourquoi cette marque allemande prestigieuse qui a produit les optiques d'Hasselblad les meilleures du monde met-elle son logo sur ces objectifs japonais... D'autres 21 mm tout aussi bons pour 2-3 fois moins cher sont sur le marché.Sur ce Loxia à 1 500€, on a l'impression de payer 800€ d'objectif et 700 de Zeiss. En tant que professionnel, je ne marche pas. Désolé.

Eccellente sotto ogni punto di vista
Un gioiello di precisione ottica. Una lente manuale con una messa a fuoco precisa e pulita. Un po' poco pratico da mettere e togliere, ma ci si abitua subito. Ha un peso considerevole per le dimensioni, ma sul corpo macchina non sbilancia la presa.Quasi zero i difetti, è decisamente un acquisto importante dal punto di vista della spesa. Anche se sono pronto a suggerire l'acquisto sempre, devo anche insinuare di valutare l'effettivo uso di una focale così "larga".

Best WA from Sony E mount
This is by far the best general wide angle lens for the Sony E mount in terms of image quality. That is not to say it is a lens for everyone, it is manual focus, it does have some field curvature, but when used properly the results are stunning. I shoot almost only Zeiss lenses and have for nearly 10 years. This is probably the best I have used. If you are shooting landscapes, definitely give this one a try.
