White: A Decade

It’s a great book, very thick, well made. The paintings are rather small but a great use for my magnifying glass. I think he wanted them small so people couldn’t rip out the pages and frame them as prints because if you know MH work, he doesn’t just produce generic prints, only artist proofs.

Michael Hussar's paintings are so gorgeous they will take your breath away...just one comment about the book..Where are they?Most of this book is filled with very rough idea sketches for future paintings that barely qualify as sketches. I was hoping for a retrospective af all his work ( which is mind blowing )and this book was a big dissappointment. Save your money for hopefully another book that will really show off this remarkable talent.

The sketches are not his best and the paintings when shown are tiny for a book this size. Baby Tattoo should be ashamed of themselves but probably have some vain glorious reason artistically why it is presented this way. Just like the tiny Mark Ryden books, even if it is the artists choice some pieces deserve to be seen larger since we can not always see them in person.

He is a great Artist that could expoused little bit more of his preciuos art on this book. I am just little bit dissapointed however it will remain as great piece of collection.

Totally not what I expected. Graphic nudity shocked me. And I just didn't "get" the true meaning of the artist.

Incredibly dissapointing do not buy this book you will be upset and feel ripped off

Collectors item only, it's just random basic sketches.

Great book!!! A piece of art!!!

I read a lot of reviews of this book, the majority were really bad. I know that a review i very relative so i finally bought the book and i will try to be as objective as i can.The editorial design is really impressive, the quality is very good with fine details for the observers.I always thought that it was better to see a glimpse of the mind of an artist rather than a finished piece, thats a very personal opinion i think that seeing a rough sketch tells a deeper story.Finished pieces are not hard to see, displaying the process in reverse (every michael hussar "fan" have seen his finished pieces) is more original.Im very very happy with this art book that looks like a bible (which is totally awesome).To be objective i have to tell that i love sketch drawings and thats playing a major role in my review, im a graphic designer, i do concept art and im a toy maker.

First of all the quality of the book is gorgeous. It has gold paper and beautiful details. Hussar is truly an amazing artist. Although I would have loved to see more paintings, the sketches in this book are really interesting if you take the time to look at them and see a glimpse into his thought process. They paintings that are in the book are all beautiful and high quality printed. Overall this is definitely a must for Hussar fans or just art collectors.

Me ha encantado.Son las ilustraciones del artista con sus bocetos previos, se presentan con papel cebolla y páginas blancas con ilustraciones ocultas. Es genial, muy recomendable.
