This keyholder replaced one that I had for many years. I hope this is gonna last as long as the previous one. very well constructed and it’s very practical to use.

These spring steel clips are well designed. It is very easy to snap a key ring into or out of the clip, and while it's in, it held securely by a spring-steel retainer. The loop through which the belt passes is also held shut by a strong spring so that it won't open accidentally. It's possible to slide the clip onto the belt from the side but it's not trivially easy: better to thread the belt through the clip if you can. The clip fits well on my leather belt that is 1-18 inches (28.5 mm) wide, with a little room to slide along the belt. A wider belt would not fit. One caveat: the black clips have a very thin powder coating that is easy to scratch off, exposing a shiny metal surface.

The "clip" on these are somewhat harder to pull off my pants, which I've decided is a good thing, because I don't want to lose my Airpods or my Apple Watch, which is what I'm using them for. Love the black color. Highly recommend.

I bought these for my son's so that they won't lose their house key. The hooked it to their wallets. So it's safe and easy to get to. I have 3 son's so I got more for my money. It works on just about any fabric, but mostly on leather. Easy to put on and remove. Makes my son's look more responsible.

I thought these would be too bulky at first but they aren't very heavy at all, and since every keychain belt hook I've had has worn out and these seem built to last I no longer care about the size. They look big but really aren't even as big as my mid 2010's Chevy key fob.
