It doesn’t record voices as they sound
Bought for our new grand baby who won’t use it for a while. We took it out of the box and got a good chuckle out of it ! When voices recorded, they sounded nothing like our voices, but sounded “ cartoon” like.

8 Month Old Loves It, Weird Song Choices
So this is probably going to be the most unnecessarily thorough review of a dancing cactus but hopefully someone finds it helpful. We got this toy for my 8 month old for Christmas and she LOVES it! She's not spooked by it like the babies in tiktoks and she's almost guaranteed to stop crying if I turn on one of the songs. She loves making noises at it and hearing it babble back at her. She would give it 5 stars. However, as an adult, I have a few things I'm not a fan of. For starters, there's no option to just cycle through the songs which is my daughter's favorite thing. They are like 15-30 second song clips and when one ends, you have to push the button for a new one to start. I spend so much time pushing that darn button, I just wish there was a straight up music mode. Also, on mine the volume button is kind of not easy to push down. I think the voice record option is pretty good. Sometimes there is some static but it's not a deal breaker. The big thing to know about this toy is the song choices are super weird. The sound and rhythm is good for entertaining a baby, but the lyrics are odd and some of the songs are obscure and in different languages. The seller doesn't give a list of songs which is a bit annoying. After hearing the word "ganja" in one of the songs in a different language, I ended up going down a rabbit hole with Shazam and looked up all the songs that it plays. Some are pretty inappropriate and weirdly sexual since this is marketed towards babies. Anyway, here is the list, the language, and any lyrics that were inappropriate:My Humps by Black Eyed Peas. (The whole beginning of the song about junk in the trunk, getting love drunk on humps, lovely little lumps... yeah it was the weirdest choice for a baby toy)Boys by Charlie XCX. (Lyric "I need that bad boy to do me right on a Friday" just a song about wanting a bunch of different dudes).Handclap by Fitz and the Tantrums. (Lyric "you've been sinning in this city" "all these lovers got you losing control")Black Gun by Happy People. (Just the word "black gun" repeatedly)Party Til We Die by MAKJ (Lyric "party til we die)Panama by Matteo (Romanian, Lyric about ganja/weed)Dura by Daddy Yankee (Spanish). Toca Toca by Fly Project (Spanish). Young Boss by Lambert (Chinese and English). Congo by Mandi Classic (language Mandi/nomaande/lemande? I'm still not sure about the lyrics). 2 phút hơn by Pháo (Vietnamese). Waka Waka/This time for Africa by Shakira (English and bantu/cameroonian/fang?).Bad Guy by Billie Eilish. Jumpshot by Dawin. Let's Get Lost by Chris James. Escape by Dripice. Power by Epiik. Y/Please Tell Me Why by Free Style. Mi Gente by J Balvin and Willy William. Animal Style by Jackal. Bomba by Jessy Matador. Epic Sax by Jr Serpent. Happy Birthday by Kidz/Let's Sing Together. Magnifique Amelie by Mario de Marco. Wicked Wonderland by Martin Tungevaag. Ocean by Mike Perry. Le C Le C by Mr E Top Channel. Psycho Pt 2 by Russ. At the Edge by Shen Chou. Run Away by Sunstroke Project. Freaks by Timmy Trumpet. Nevada by Vicetone. Lonely by Akon/Xanemusic. Run Free by Deep Chills.Anyway hopefully this helps someone 😅If you found this review helpful, please click the helpful button below.

You get what you pay for. Lights up and dances okay but Songs are just a mess.
The media could not be loaded. My babies actually like this toy so perhaps I'll find one that works as it is supposed to. It lights up and dances but when it comes to playing the songs, the performance is lacking. The songs cut off after a few seconds & audio sounds jumbled & distorted.Remember to turn it off after you're done because it will repeat every sound it hears.

Dancing talking cactus for the win!
This cute toy has helped so much with tummy time. It’s easy to toss in the toy bin and even fits in with decor. It moves and lights up keeping baby’s attention and is one of the first handfuls of colors baby sees. It’ll be used from 3 months until speaking as it repeats what you say. I’ve dropped it and knocked it over by accident and can say it’s pretty durable. Would buy for a friend!
