Well worth consideration
I am not disappointed, it a good price and very useful (at least to me) for what I need at the moment. I do not need a pointed blade, and many chisel tip blades are expensive. It opens easily one handed the weight of the blade helps alot, the chops paracord. Yes I say chop I lay the cord across a chopping block the position the blade across the cord and give it a quick whack with a rubber mallet and I get a clean cut (my other method is cut the cord with an anvil hand trimmer; some trimmers are better than others, side cutters don't work as well). Since I'll probably beat it to death or lose it in a wood pile some time the price is right. The blade is substantial enough I think it will last some time. The edge is sharp out of the box. The top edge is rounded which may distribute the mallet force more evenly (just sayin' can't be sure).

K Bar nice blade
I like the look of the blade as well as the handle sharpened up nicely. Been on my list to buy for awhile finally did so not a disappointment so far. The only thing that I don’t like is that the blade does not open with the flipper quickly most of the time only half way and the most I have had is 3/4 open but also did not a self defense blade so not a big issue and hopefully it will loosen with time. Good buy for the money enjoy update when opening with flipper you fling it open with flick of the wrist and it fast and easy.

Solid budget KA-BAR
Made in china/budget line, but the quality is excellent for the price. Composite/micarta grip is great and perfect for medium to larger hands. 8” fully open with 4.5” grip. It’s a little clunky by nature because of the cleaver like blade, but good weight balance. I think this would be a solid camp carry but may be a bit much for EDC. Still a nice unique folder for under 30$.

A lot of knife for the money...
The form factor and usefulness exceeded my expectation. Has become my go to pocket carry.

Solid knife. Could be packaged better.
Missing a small piece on the handle. Still works. Needed sharpening.

It Only Looks Good in the Marketing Picture
It's a shame this thing says Ka-bar on it. It looks like junk and functions like junk. If you care about the quality of your blade, look elsewhere. Spend a few more dollars and get an American-made Buck or Kershaw.
