Nice.
Paired with the IQbuds 2 MAX, its a game changer for me and my TV! (Moderate hearing loss, particularly at higher frequencies.) Although I have a good soundbar connected to the TV, muddy audio was always a problem on certain channels, certain programs, and with certain speakers. I was constantly jacking up the volume and relying more and more on closed captioning to help me out. Well, muddy audio no longer! And those high-pitched female voices I had trouble with were made understandable. Actually, I find that i don't need to crank up the volume on the buds to hear clearly. And the wife can adjust sound bar volume independent of my buds.ROUGH SPOTS: 1) I had to diddle around a bit to get it properly connected between the TV and sound bar (pro tip: although the instructions are not that great, look carefully at the diagrams for your particular application). 2) The smartphone app is not intuitive or informative. After fooling around with it for a few nights, I think I've got it figured out. Once you get sufficiently oriented/frustrated, going through the manual is a must, in order to know what certain things mean and how they're intended to work.

Does away the need for a sound bar....for me anyway
This is my second IQstream TV. One for upstairs and one for downstairs. Works a treat. An independent headset can be connected to the IQstream TV unit so two people can listen at their own volume level. Here's a hint. If you have a top box for the TV as in my case an EE top box [this is UK] then connect the IQstream TV directly into the top box optical digital audio output to obtain good volume. I couldn't get good volume when connected direct to the TV. However I've upgraded my top box to wifi and I can now connect directly to the TV with equally good volume. Technology changes in a blink of an eye so by the time I finish writing this all my IQ buds and TV streams will be obsolete which means I'll have to upgrade again. Thank goodness I love shopping
