worked well
As a 30something red head, I was curious to try this to perk up my color a little. I probably didn't need to, but why not?I mixed the juice from 1 lemon, a spoon of coconut oil and boiling water, let it cure for an hour or two, then let it sit in my hair for 2-2.5hrs. I didn't apply heat but I did wear a winter hat to hold the plastic bag and hair in place. I applied it bending forward in the shower and piled my hair on top of my head. It rinsed out pretty easily, I rinsed most out bending forward. Then a cleansing conditioner, then another conditioner. It came out a little brighter and darker than I expected, but it still looks "natural", only a few people noticed that I made a change. Overall, I'm happy with this science experiment! I will update on how it fades.

Nice color touch
I used this product on my dark blonde hair and it adds a nice light reddish tone to it. It looks very natural. However it is-no doubt-the messiest thing I have ever used to dye my hair with. It is a procedure to get it on the head and it's a procedure to get it off the head too. Everything takes very long and a lot of cleaning in between (and afterwards) is hard to avoid. The muddy-like texture splashes easy and gets all over, so watch out if you are not already a professional with using henna. Other than that I like it.

OK.. Not as light as I would like
This is an ok product... I would reccommend it above chemical dyes. I wanted to lighten my red hair... it ade it darker. The best product to use to lighten your hair is... Hydrogen Peroxide.. It works great. and it's cheap!Overall rating on this product is fair.. and worth a try if you want a few dark red highlights!

Hard to find
The light red is a hard to find color both in my town and online. I don't want to color my hair, just bring back the shine lost over summer's strong sun. It worked perfectly. this is my favorite Henna brand

I love Light Mountain Natural Hair Color
I have used the Light Red Light Mountain Natural Hair Color for several months now and LOVE IT! Not only is the color beautiful but my hair feels so good afterwards. The color is great for my dark strawberry blonde hair which is turning more white/gray at the roots (and dark underneath which does not take the color as well but is more hidden.) I am so happy to have found a hair color that is botanical and not highly toxic like my previous chemical hair color products. Also, the big corporate hair color companies were always discontinuing the light red dyes that I needed to mix with blonde in order to get my color, it was very frustrating. Here are my tips: (yes, it is messier that other dyes but now I am getting better at applying it and have much less mess)* Buy a cheap shampoo smock to use* Buy a hair brush application tool for under $2.00, looks like a long paint brush; also get a med-large mixing bowl, shower cap- all these things are available at Sally's.* To allow the henna to rinse out easier, put honey in the mix.(I do not put lemon juice in the mix. I use: an egg, honey, yogurt, olive oil, and several drops of essential oils for a nice smell)* DO THE STRAND TEST to check for the right time/color intensity for your hair. Instead of cutting a piece of hair, I used hair from my hairbrush to test- just matted it together before testing.* Apply to bottom and back of head first and work forward; wrap hair with saran wrap and then put shower cap on.* I just use a blow dryer only briefly* I found (with my medium thickness but long hair) I only need to use 1/2 package- I saved the other 1/2 in the original box for the next month and I save the little bit of the mixed goop left in a baggie in the refrigerator for touch-ups at roots or if I missed a spot.Have Fun and feel great knowing you are not using a chemical on your scalp!

Subtle but lovely
So I’ve dabbled in henna and henna indigo in the past… went completely black and I hated it! Spent a fortune and many years to remove it back to its natural lighter hair colour. That mistake made me very scared to try henna again.I’m a natural level 7 mousey ashy blonde not quite blonde not brown either. I’ve damaged the hell out of it with highlights and bleach and various bright red purple fashion colours and colour strippers. I had a terrible allergy reaction to eyebrow and a popular brand box dye (never happened to me previously I was very shocked)! So I decided it’s natural or nothing and put up with my grey at the front. Before this henna my hair was in an awful state not growing past my shoulders, dull and even a patch I was loosing hair (I have pcos). But after this my hair felt amazing! Felt thicker and fuller immediately after, gorgeous glowing shine and the colour is a light strawberry blonde/copper tone. I’d have paid good money in the salon for this! I’m never going back to chemicals again. I’m converted!

Very disappointed, misleading advert
I am very disappointed. It says on the ad that this product cost 7.21£/kg so I expected to receive several boxes for a total bundle of 1.8kg since I paid 13.25£......... I only received one box of 113g for this price. This is extremely expensive. You can buy this brand for way cheaper somewhere else. The colour is still very nice but I am not surprised, it’s a good quality brand but I won’t buy again from this seller... extremely disappointed.

Brilliant
Used this for the first time yesterday and it really works. I have natural ginger hair but come winter the dark undertones are more noticeable, I put this on for an hour to lighten the darker areas and it looks lovely. My hair feels really nice after as well which is a bonus for my curls.

seems to be a good colour
I almost wimped out of using this but in the end did a henna gloss which worked well. love the conditioning effect. also love the packaging with the parrot on it and the fact it is not texted on animals. i will prob still keep it at a henna gloss rather than a full colouring to keep things fairly subtle. i would recommend.
