Incredible! 3 months laths later and still working. Yes it's expensive but when you see them dead inside versus crawling around you'll be glad you bought it. I keep mine right on the the edge of the kitchen sink where I've seen them the most. I'm so greatful that I bit the bullet.

A good solution depending on what kind of bait you put in here. Smart roaches will avoid this of course. I think these products don't give them enough credit. Just as some roaches don't eat gel bait, and some roaches that eat gel bait appear to be tolerant of it.If you're looking for a miracle solution that will kill all your roaches, then this is not it. But I don't know of any solution that will do so. So far the most effective thing I've done is to basically constantly take away the trash and get a small trashcan with a tight fitting lid.. that keeps out most, but not all roaches.It may take some time to kill a roach, btw. I noticed that it took 10 minutes for the buzzing of this machine to kill one roach (yes, the electrocution is audible.. but not ridiculous loud in any way). Much better than those sticky traps, imo, as this solution lasts longer.

I have a roach problem in my garage and tried various ways to deal with it. 1) The gel baits or spray. Although most of them claim to be children & pet safe, I still have a general concern of spreading toxic stuff all around the house; 2) The ultrasonic insect repels, used to work for the first few days, but since the roaches are not killed they're coming back as soon as the repels are not on.Since a friend recommended I bought this electric trap to give it a try. Have used it for about a week now and so far pretty satisfied. This trap is simple yet effective in a way to gather and kill the roaches on the spot. Easy to setup and clean. Used some cookies as bait and killed quite a few in the first day. Only downside might be the need of multiple traps to cover a large area, as I heard the roaches could only smell the bait within a few feet.

This is a pretty effective way of getting rid of a lot of cockroaches in a small amoun of time. The amount of zapped cockroaches is dependent on the level of infestation and the type of bait that you use. It worked pretty well for me for a few months but eventually failed because much of the burnt cockroaches would tend to stick to the plastics and metal parts and would evdntually acummulate and create a conductive bridge between the metal strips which would cause a short circuit preventing the trap to work properly. I had to disassemble and throughly clean the metal strips and the plastics to make it work again.. I think they should redesign this to make it easier to clean and avoid failures due to shorting the metal strips. I eventually had to modify mine by using a prototyping pcb to replace the metal strips and use a jst connector so i can easily replace the pcb with a new one if it gets damaged.

First day killed over 50 roaches, I emptied, by morning had 30 more, all sizes small to large even.The outdoor wood roach. I learned my lesson buying food at a local bet and dent. :( never again. I just placed and order for three more of these. I'm so happy to see something that actually works as described. We have gone through over five dollars of chemicals and the darn.things walk away after spraying them.

Then the unit died. It took a while to zap them dead, also. I did not send it back in time, but I definitely regret buying this.
