Sturdy, but very stiff. Screw together tight for a secure fit of luggage tags.
I purchased the BlueCosto Stainless Steel String Wire Luggage Tag Loops because I had some really nice luggage ID tags stolen when I checked my bags on an airline. The tags were nice embroidered tags with the airline’s logo, and somehow between the time I checked the bag and when it was returned to me at the end of the flight, the tags were stolen. Perhaps some luggage handler thought they could remove them and use them for their own personal use!Since that time, I purchased the BlueCosto Stainless Steel String Wire Luggage Tag Loops in hopes of keeping my new luggage tags secure.Like most luggage ID tags, my new tags came with the clear rubber loops that are easy to loop onto luggage. Unfortunately, they are not very secure because they can be snipped off or unlooped. The BlueCostco Stainless steel wire luggage tags seem to be more sturdy, and have to be screwed together. While more sturdy, they are very stiff. They don’t flex as much as the he original loops, so they can get caught on things if you aren’t careful. The only downfall I see is you have to make sure you screw the ends together tight in order for the loop to stay secure, otherwise you can also lose your luggage ID tags.

Very Versatile
I had bought a dynatag that came with a small bunch of these silver rings. I have found them to be so versatile. I was first using them for my luggage and backpacks while travelling as a theft deterrent by looping them through the overlapping holes most zippers have on packs. (My husband stole most of them for his.) This was a tip I used from Rick Steves. After we got back we used them in the house when we were putting up our new light fixtures. My husband used them to loop the extra chain without it looking bad. These were practically invisible. So, with how much we were using them, I felt that a 50 pack would be a good buy, and I thought the price was right for them.

Solid Design.
This is a good product. The ends are very easy to thread together and screw down tightly. It took me 13 twists between my thumb and forefinger of the locking tumbler to tighten it down which means it'd take quite a bit for it to come completely loose on its own. However, if you are using it to hold something you absolutely cannot lose I would recommend you put a touch of glue on the threads to be safe. The tumbler itself has a grippy, textured surface which aids in cinching it tight. The cable is vinyl coated giving it a smooth surface which also helps to prevent fraying.I have several small tool bags which look the same so I use these with cheap luggage tags to describe the contents. I thread these little cables through the hole most zipper pulls have and use the cable to pull open my bags. Much easier that way. I suppose it would work for zipper pulls on jackets as well if a person had a problem with their grip.Anyway, this is a solid product that I am happy to recommend.
