I was at first a little hesitant at purchasing this end mill. Mostly from the negative reviews. However examining and using this end mill I find it an astonishing value.I can see what the negative reviews are most likely cause by. If you look at the first image "Cutter Configuration.jpg" you will see the cutting face of the end mill. Notice the three cutting edges are not equal in length. Common in center cutting end mills. Hence they are not under equal load while cutting. Variance in spindle loads can cause self amplifying harmonics. These harmonics do not have enough energy to affect a standard one metric ton milling machine, however the becoming more common place, 40 kilogram CNC machines, could be adversely affected.In my milling machining this end mill cuts aluminum like butter and completely chatter free. The side flutes are very sharp ("Flute Edge.jpg") and have a excellent flute profile ("Flute Profile .jpg") that ejects chips freely without clogging, leaving a near mirror finish behind.A final comment. Low incidence illumination in conjunction with jpeg compression can greatly exaggerate the appearance surface roughness. All of the ground surfaces on the end mill I received exhibit diffraction phenomenon, like the rainbow of colors from diffraction gratings. So the grind roughness is approaching the wavelengths of visible light. Resulting in very sharp edges. This is best seen in "Surface Finish Diffraction .jpg" I am very pleased with my purchase and the end mill performance.

I ordered 4 end mills but Amazon delivered only 1 end mill; I contacted the seller and explained to me that it was Amazon problem not deliver to customer as it suppose to. he was nice enough to offer to send me the other 3 end mills and I just received today. The end mills are great and good price and fast shipping. Thanks for doing it right.I certainly to buy it again.Hoang Nguyen

I'm using this on a GG3 CNC mill. It works as well or better as any of the other end mills I've found but costs much less.

Very brittle

Didn’t work. It wasn’t sharp enough. It started bouncing and the overheated. The tip is sharp sides are terrible.

Works as advertised

This thing is fantastic for cutting aluminum and removing the chips

Nice cutter, clean cutting surfaces. Really smooths out those final passes.
