A Natural History Guide: Great Smoky Mountains National Park

Fantastic book that explains how the Park was formed in prehistoric times, how it came to be a National Treasure, what it's future may be and everything in between. It is truly a complete history of the Great Smoky Mountains, written by a man that has spent most of his life exploring, observing, protecting, understanding and sharing his love for this Park with those that will take the time to look and listen.

This is wonderful guide describing flora & fauana in the Great Smokey Mountains. The book is placed on my shelf next to the book Cascade-Olympic Natural History.

Got this before coming to the Smoky Mountains for the first time. I'm really enjoying my read through it so far! Lots of pictures and clear explanations.
