Carpet appears to be quality, although time will tell.
We lined up one end and one side of the carpet on our pontoon dock. We rolled it to one end, and spread adhesive for two -three feet sections across the width, then unrolled and pressed the carpet with a 2 x 4 and much weight to remove bubbles or folds. After gluing the entire carpet in this manner, we trimmed the remaining side and end and put boat bumper edging around the top edge. It looks nice, but it is too soon to tell if the carpet will hold up under outdoor conditions. We had no problems with installation or the carpet fraying on the sides.
