I like how these kids sized walkies actually work. We use them for when I have to go outside to chicken coop. Reception works good. If you need an affordable walkie talkie around the house buy these. Got my for under 13.00 dollars and we'll worth it as we use them daily and are still holding up.

These were a Christmas gift and my daughter absolutely loves playing with them. Range is good and handles three levels of our house and walls with no issues. Sound comes through clear with very little static. My only gripe is if you don’t manually turn off the walk-in talkie then it seems to remain on forever without an automatic turn off option. I guess that makes sense if you want to contact somebody an hour or two later but for kids this means many batteries will be drained unintentionally. Overall a nice toy and fun for the family.

These won't ever get tested to the maximum of their range. They're great for the purpose they'll be used - probably about 3-5 feet from each other - maximum reach may be other side of the house, and it works for that purpose. Batteries are included, but I don't know how long they'll ultimately last. The LCD screen has a single LED backlight on one side, which can make reading the screen difficult in certain lighting conditions.As a kids toy, this works just fine. Around the house and in the back yard, it's a good piece of kit for a good price. If you've ever had these for kids, they tend to use them briefly then forget all about them. The batteries will leak acid because kids leave them on and forget to turn them off. That happens every single time. Rarely do they ever actually use them until the batteries run out. For these purposes - short range and for brief spells of kids play, these will work just fine. If they break, replace them.

For kids or adults that haven't matured yet! I admit my spouse and I had a blast testing these walks talkies out for my niece's. I was disappointed at first because the batteries that came with the unit were D.O.A , one walk talky turned on for a few seconds and the other walk talky never turned on at all. I thought it was damaged. Thank goodness a fresh set of batteries fix all the issues and the fun began lol. We were at a distance of about 25/30 feet and they were pretty clear, you can easily make out the other person's voice. I was definitely surprised, considering this is a children's toy grade set. They aren't water proof, that's a bummer, but they appear easy to use and have an adjustable volume control, 90 plus channels, low battery alert among other features. The range is stated at 2/3 miles but I doubt that and you have to consider environmental conditions, as they always contribute to overall performance even with more expensive professional models which i do own. However, for In house or back yard fun or possibly a short walk through the playground or wooded path. If your at the park, i really like these as an added measure of security because you can stay connected without having a visual - never loose sight of your children! I'm an over protective uncle, having said that, brings me to my only point of concern. I didn't know this unit came with two detachable lanyards. My youngest niece's are 3 yrs old and the other is 11 yrs old. Neither will be getting the added lanyards, because I do not want them to put these lanyards around there necks, especially if they aren't under 100% supervision. They are nifty and you can detach the neck lanyard and leave the wrist loop, if you wish to. I personally do not. They are smart and intelligent girls but they are children nonetheless. Overall performance, yeah these are fun! If we ever go thru another lockdown situation, you want these. I can't attest to how long the batteries will last but these units do appear very durable and I enjoyed them, so, I'm certain they will also. Do I recommend them, yes! Why they are inexpensive and just fun to own. Hope this helps.

These were purchased to give my youngest child something to do during the cold no going out weather! And they have not disappointed ! Easy enough for her to use and even the older kids have played with her with them! They have been on all day and still have full battery life, and even better had batteries included. The sound and range in the house is great considering we have a tri level house. I would positively buy another set!
