Electrician's Exam Study Guide 1st Edition

Manual did arrive on time. Although it was advertise to have all the chapters I needed something strange, going on ,the only real chapter I needed was missing from this manual. Even though the manual is in very good condition and it appears to not have been done on purpose chapter 9 of the manual is is missing label and if the appendix or something ,incorrect, and I needed it to study,

I am glad I browsed threw amazon for a book to help me study for the Electeical Exam. I have other books but none brake it down like this one. Thank you amazon for meeting my needs, My book was here so fast I was surprised to see the book in the mail after the 2nd day ordering. I am sure to pass my test with this book it has every subject in the order of the test. Again thank you Amazon. J.M

THIS BOOK WAS OK, A FEW EDITING ERRORS BUT NOT BAD. I GOT THIS BOOK AND ANOTHER ONE TO STUDY FOR CALIFORNIA EXAM.I LIKED THE OTHER BOOK BETTER IT HAD A FREE CD OF THE TESTS.

A good start for the journeyman electrician test prep. This book is an excellent text book and is used by a local technical college in an electrical training course. The practice exam questions are on target with the Experion, Block, ICC, and Tompson-Prometric tests I have taken. By using this text and a loose leaf copy of the NEC an apprentice should be able to pass their exams with flying colors.

When I typed in 2008 NEC study guide this book came up. It was reasonably priced, so I bought it. When I got it, I realized it covered the '05. No big deal, I'm a smart guy and I know what the changes look like, so I dove in. First I took their answers at face value, but I was getting questions wrong that I knew were right. There were an average of 3 incorrect answers per quiz! It helped me to better understand the subject matter because I was digging to find the right answers, but it was frustrating because that's not the way it's supposed to work. I passed my test, but I recommend getting an updated study guide.

I got this five days before my exam was able to only get through over a half the book ,and was prepared for the test the hints and tips are accurate and helped me manage my time I recommend this book to everyone that I know .must have

If you are studying for your electrical license you will want a study guide based on the current code book. This guide is based on the 2005 code.

This edition is a 2007, which the tests have been revised 2 or 3 times since then. Still not a bad study guide when put together with a newer edition.
