Timers work wonders
As a first grade teacher, timers are essential in our classroom. These timers are magnetic and they are strong. I am not worried about them falling off of our board. The colors are beautiful. They are easy to use. My kids can use them independently.

Love, love, love these timers for my classroom
Large view to see across whole classroom. Magnets stick to the board well. Color coded when need a different timer for specific students. Swivel feet break off easily. Alarm is not really loud enough for a noisy kindergarten classroom. It would be helpful for the alarm to adjust high or low (on the side?) for noisy vs. quiet classroom. Have to take off the board for alarm on/off switch.

Great value for money!
I set these up in my daycare and the colors are great and they are easy to hang. The timer is nice and loud- it serves its purpose as a transition timer for the littles.

Fantastic! Helpful for Children with Autism and Everyone to Learn Time Management!
These are FANTASTIC! Honestly I do not know what I did before I found these! I am a classroom teacher and I use these for everything! Children thrive on consistent routines and follow through, and using these timers provides that structure. My classroom now runs like a well-oiled machine because I am using these timers. So the ones I received were a 3 pack of large visual timers in red, yellow, and blue. I use the red timer for my students for more active times such as to time small groups, clean up time, handwriting times, so they can track how many minutes are left to work/play. This has been so helpful in managing challenges with cleanup times and transitions, since children can see how many minutes they have left on their own and now they now will talk among themselves about how much time is left so I don't need to, creating independence and an understanding of time! I use the yellow timer for reading time, and rest time, and for puzzle activities/quiet activities. I use the blue timer for myself so I can track how long Circle Times are and to know when to switch activities so I am on schedule with my own activities. My classroom runs so much smoother with the help of these, I kid you not! They are unique from any other timer that I have used in that there are little placards you can use dry erase markers on to draw pictures or write the words for the activity you are doing. So when, for example, we are reading, I draw a picture of a book on the placard, put it on top of the yellow timer, so when it goes off the children know what they need to do. I have never seen this with any other timers I have used, and I have used a lot over the years. These truly are the best timers I have used and will continue to use these in my classroom for years to come! The best part is they have a magnet in the back so you can attach them to any magnetic surface, making them very versatile and easy to use. It also has a toggle switch on the back so you can set it to ring, or so it makes no sound so children who are sound aware won't be distracted such as when taking a test. Take the plunge on these if you are on the fence, I promise you, you won't regret it. I cannot rave enough about these!

Must have for classrooms
I work in a special education setting and have had the opportunity to use visual timers from different brands. Time Timers are the original and by far the best in terms of quality and durability. The way a visual timer works is that you move the dial to however minutes are left in a task, turning this amount of time a certain color. As time runs out, the colorful space shrinks, giving students a visual cue of how much time is left. This is perfect for visual learners or students who struggle with time management.I use this 8" timer on a daily basis. I also had a chance to compare this newer model to the older version, and it is MUCH improved. The new version of this timer has a magnet on the back, allowing you to hang it up on your whiteboard if you have one. The magnet is very strong, and holds the timer firmly in place. There is also a protective covering, shielding the moveable part from curious little hands. Furthermore, this timer has an optional beep to alert students when time has run out. I'll attach some pics of the old version (grey) vs. the new version (yellow). So even if you have an older model that still works, you may want to consider upgrading. This classroom set contains three timers in different colors. Here is a quick breakdown of the pros and cons:PROS- great battery life (two AA batteries)- quiet - no ticking! Other timer brands I have tried ticked so loudly it became a distraction.- optional beeping sound when timer runs out- easy battery access- protective cover- clear numbering- different colors - could use different colors for different tasks- magnet to attach to whiteboard- optional stand to place on deskCON- only measures 60 minutes - not ideal when using for longer tasksOverall, this item is a must-have accessory for any classroom and this brand is the one I would recommend over any other.
