Good set
I find that this is a good set of picks and brushes for gun work. The brass is not going to hold up like steel, but protecting your guns is the point of using brass. I wish that they made the brass picks a bit larger in diameter so that they were a bit stronger while still avoiding scratching the gun, but they're still good. I found that these are a good value for the money.

Brushes are garbage, picks make up for them.
I read the reviews prior to purchasing. They are correct the brushes are cheap, like real cheap. Bristles fail out after first use. I can get those at fleet farm though for cheap, and they are supposed to be replaced every so often. I got this for the picks. I had cheapo plastic ones that kept breaking when I'd clean my firearms. These are steel and very nice. I got what I expected, I'm pleased.

While I generally wait to get home to clean my pistols. You never know when good weather and conversation may cause you to linger at the outdoor range.This kit, a small can of Hoppe's bore cleaner, and your oil of choice will keep your hands busy while BS'ing.Easily fits in many multi handgun range bags.Or you never know when someone newer to the sport may require some assistance with their firearm.

Good Brushes, Great Carry Case and Amazing Tools included.
The brushes were nothing special. I used them a few times for gun cleaning and they like any other wire brush from the dollar store. However, this kit comes with a nice, zip up case and several scrapping tools. The scrapping tools look like dentist's tools to me. Regardless, they really work and might be the best part of this set. I cleaned three guns with this kit today. The scrappers were a godsend. They let me scrap carbon build up out of some out-of-the-way and/or tiny places. Thumbs up!
