This is a beautiful incense holder and worth the price. I've used really cheap horizontal holders in the past and the holes are always drilled a little sideways so most of the incense stick isn't over the tray, which gets ash everywhere and defeats the purpose of an incense holder. This holder looks and feels high quality. It definitely has some weight to it, no defects, looks exactly as pictured. The variety in the hole size is very convenient because you don't need a separate holder for different types of incense. I use it for my normal sticks and mini woodless sticks, which are a bit wider.

Honestly, I love this incense holder! I know a lot of people have complained that the ashes spill over the side, but I think it's just better suited for incense that doesn't have a wood stick base (such as Japanese incense, I personally like Nippon Kodo). I only have Japanese incense at home and this base works perfectly for containing the ash, plus it is SO easy to remove the unburned base of the incense once it's done because the actual incense holder (the gold circle in the middle) can be picked up and removed. Plus, the constellations are just gorgeous. Highly recommend!

I like how there are 3 different sizes to hold different sized incense. I was expecting it to be a little bigger based on the price.

Pleasant design and the metal core is satisfying, especially for its different sized holes for different incense widths. However the diameter of the thing isn’t wide enough to catch all the ashes from a taller stick. Since the metal core is removable I wish they would’ve included a spare to hold coiled incense because it’d be the perfect size for it, but otherwise I’d recommend it.

This item is very pretty, well made, and easy to clean. However, if you put a standard incense stick in it only a fraction of the ashes will be caught. It leaves an ashy mess on whatever surface I place it on. Mildly disappointed because again, it's gorgeous, it just doesn't do the full job I expected it to.

Used this a few times and the ash always falls outside the holder. This is because the incense stick is upright and the ash stays together longer until falling off in a king clump. Will be getting a coffin. The bowl is otherwise well made and the brass piece is surprisingly heavy. I may use the brass piece on its own as it’s well made.

I thought this was a bit bigger. I wanted something that had a bigger area for the ashes to fall onto so it wouldn't make such a mess. Still cute though.
