My #1 desirable feature in razors is a numeric display showing the time remaining.My first razor, a Philips Philishave rotary razor didn't have a display at all and the battery degraded in only a few years to the point of being useless.My second razor, a Remington rotary razor had a number countdown with 60 minutes of use. It was great, I would let it get down to zero and then recharge. I have had it for over 10 years. It still charges up to 60 minutes and lasts that long as well. I am certain that the way I have managed the battery has contributed to the long life. I was only replacing it because the on/off button is starting to fail.That brings me to the Braun 8325S, my third razor. After reading reviews over many weeks, checking out a lot of different razors (only those with numeric displays), I decided on this one. I had read about some difficulty going from rotary to a foil razor but haven't had such a problem. It shaves well, really well. Much better, particularly around the neck and under the nose.However, it is missing the number 1 item I want/need. A numeric time remaining display. If you look at the images here and even on Braun's own website, it shows it. It even says on Braun's page that is has an LED display that shows the battery status. If you carefully look at the pictures, even on the box it comes in, there is one picture showing 5 led lights indicating the battery status. THAT'S WHAT YOU GET!Blatant false advertising. I am not blaming the seller because Braun themselves show it this way. I contacted the seller and they were happy for me to return the item and even offered a discount on another item. But rather than go through that hassle, I have decided to keep what is actually a very good product (so far). It is a 5 star product but I can only give it a neutral 3 star score because the number 1 thing I want, it doesn't have.I don't have hopes that it will last as long as my Remington because I won't be able to condition the battery as well, but it does give a superior shave. I am going to be contacting Braun with my concerns because I feel I was duped into buying something that I didn't get.Edit: When the razor gets to 9 minutes remaining, it shows the number and counts down. When you turn it off, it also beeps at you. This is not explained in the documentation. It explains though why there are two photos of the same product showing different battery displays. The battery is great, lasted months before running out of charge for me.
