I finally needed to upgrade my old 2.5 gpm shower heads due to community water restrictions. This model came highly recommended by Wirecutter. I bought the 1.75 gpm version. The full spray setting feels nice and the droplets feel "full" and satisfying. The needle and jet settings are OK but are probably better executed in the 2.5 gpm version. Overall an excellent low-flow shower head. When the drought is over I'll still keep these.I liked it enough to buy two more for a friend. Check out Amazon Warehouse for a better price. All of mine were mint condition with just some dinged up boxes.

Three very comfortable settings from powerful to fine mist!

Found this recommended by wirecutter. We like it a lot but in our shower the pressure seems a little low with this shower head yet it makes a bit of a high-pitched whistling sound.4 out of 5 stars

With a glowing review in the New York Times Wirecutter section and fancy marketing terms from Kohler, you would believe that this showerhead can turn a trickle into a Niagara Falls of luxury. Not quite, but it is a step up from the WaterPik Shower Massage showerhead it replaced and saves as much water as that one did. The introduction of air is supposed to create “fatter“ water droplets. The rain setting is nice and is helped by the large showerhead, which means that a pleasant rain falls over a wide area. The more focused, pulsing setting is not worth the trouble. It’s almost impossible to feel any massage sensation. The innermost setting, called “silk“ is a nice rinse for hair and face, but the fine droplets dispersed can create colder water on the fringes of the spray. It’s an attractive showerhead and it looks like a quality unit when installed. Some people seem put off by the amount of plastic in it, but it’s not likely to take much abuse in use, and it will not corrode the way a metal unit might. All in all, a good purchase, but I’d say it’s worth about $10-$15 less than its list price.

When I initially installed this showerhead, I absolutely LOVED it. The regular shower mode (I think they call it Katalyst) is nice and relaxing, with the right amount of pressure. The massage isn't particularly strong, but the SILK SPRAY. Oh. My. GOD! That is the most relaxing experience in a shower I can imagine.Unfortunately, after just over a year of use, the showerhead started dripping. Not from the connection point to the water line, but rather from the dial and face of the shower head. I have taken it down and cleaned it, and the water is not coming from any of the individual openings in the face. It started as small, infrequent drips, and it has now progressed to a full stream of water coming straight down from the face of the shower head. I tried calling their support line, but returns need to go through a plumbing supply company, and I bought this on Amazon.I really enjoy using this showerhead, but I think that the quality of it may not be up to par for Kohler.

I sense it will be lighter in weight than the brass one it will replace, but that might be okay.Can't wait. (Earlier comment)Okay, just used it for the first time, and here is my review.It is light in weight, and wider than I thought, neither of those are necessarily negatives.And it IS a showerhead, not a "Hydrorail(R)-R Beam Bath/Shower Column."I sent amazon a message last week to that effect but they have not corrected the description above (Canadian site only).I quite like it in use and point out that Wirecutter recently rated this as their favourite showerhead.My previous one had a narrow, somewhat strong spray.This one has a wide spray, gentle and rainlike, in the setting of the 3 outside concentric circles. It covers the body well.The narrower more focused somewhat pulsating stream is better for rinsing hair.The third setting is softer and steamier and feels just a bit cooler as it is air-infused.I recommend this purchase and hope the the head is long-lived. Only time will tell.

This is the best water saving shower head I’ve ever used. The spray pattern and aeration are amazing, it doesn’t feel like a major loss of water flow. The hot water lasts so much longer, even if guests are staying over. Our gas bill decreased noticeably per month as well.

We read an article on the top 10 shower heads and this was among them. It works perfect. Way better than the original that came with the house. It has 3 settings.

Highly rated by NYT, so bought one and installed it. Love it so much I bought another one for my wife's shower.
