Super heavy duty. Could use a notice how to open the compass. After opening, all was well.

Not of the same quality as you’d expect from a Brunton, but it’s still a well made geo compass. Measures bearings, dips, strikes and angles with a fair amount of precision, but there’s more magnetic interference on this than on a more expensive model. Overall, very good for the money

The product seems to be of good construction for the price. Seems ok going forward on bearing but when the needle is on 180 should be zero on the other side. The needle reads two degrees extra. It came in 180 degrees out the adjustment screw was tight at certain spots but was able to get it turned 180 degrees seems to be work better now… but quality and inspections before passing should be checked a little closer … other than that it is ok for the price

The compass needle was constantly getting stuck. The plastic case was flimsy and felt like it was always going to fall out. Things like moisture could easily make it into the compass. Thought I was going to get a compass that looked like a brunton but didnt work like one. Got one that didnt work at all.

Plastic cover builds so much static needle won't move. As static builds up just from touching it no way to ever get accurate reading even when static slowly dissipates.
