I originally ordered these because I wanted to find my husband a gift that he would enjoy and be able to use. But after getting these, I fell in love with them. The glasses are a great size. They are absolutely elegant. The whiskey stones keep your drinks cold without watering down. This would make a great gift for anyone. Or you can even gift yourself. Great set of stones love them in whiskey

It isn't going to get the beverage very cold like ice but it has a purpose. It will bring the beverage below room temperature. I put a shot of gin in a small drinking glass with a lime twist and olive. I add the stones from the freezer. Place a plastic lid over the top of the glass. Shaking vigorously wakes the flavors up while bringing down the temperature without watering down the gin. The stones are a purposeful product I use every day.

Only cools the whisky, and for a very short time. I'll stick to ice.
