These have been a huge sucess for our family. we have twin 8yr olds and an 11yr old. they take turns going first and it gets us chatting for a good hour at dinner. love it. only downside is once u get through the cards, they dont want to repeat the topic.

These are definitely for older kids- older meaning 7 years and up. They are kinda hard to use with a 4 year old. We’ll keep trying and use during meals to facilitate conversation.

My kids ( 9 and 7) and I love these cards, great in the car, or a rainy day. Their friends come over and love the cards as well, love how it facilitates us in listening to each other, learning about each other and great questions I have not thought of!

These cards are a perfect way to bring young ones into dinner conversation. My son (6yrs) is able to read most of the words and enjoys making up creative answers to questions like "what kind of candy would you invent?" Our only problem is that he likes it too much and does not eat his food. We have switched this to an after dinner game and use it as a reward for eating well.

This is an excellent "tool" disguised as a children's activity to get to know your kids as well as to engage them in conversations other than what would they like to eat or simple yes and no answers. It challenges them to think, express their opinions, and several times think of something funny to say and see what is really in their personalities.

Thought topics would draw out a preteen. Not so much.
