I have tried other cheaper products that claim to polish (aluminum oxide). Spend the extra money and buy Tru-square metal products!The cheaper products don't seem to be as pure (aluminum oxide) as Tru-square. When I tumble with the cheaper products, the slurry has a grayish tint to it. TRU-SQUARE stays white and rocks come out shiny..Buy the BEST
