These are Driftless Climbing's Chiral Pinches indoor competition series rock climbing holds. Our holds are made from 100% polyurethane with the competition route setter and dedicated climber in mind. These holds are offered in "full" or "dual" texture. Full texture holds have a sandstone like texture over the entire surface. Our dual texture holds have two finished surfaces. Much of the hold is smooth and slick and a climber can't gain friction with hands or feet. However, the edges have the same friendly friction as our full texture holds. Dual texture holds are excellent for forcing movement. Our Chiral Pinch series come in three matched pairs (total of 6 holds). Holds look identical in shape and size but have different face angles from in-cut to sloping. When setting a route simply switch the hold angle or size to alter the difficulty of movement. These holds allow the climber to consistently make progress and build strength with incremental changes in difficulty. The Chiral Pinch Series is designed for commercial gym use and abuse but are perfect for the dedicated climber's home wall or system board.
