Fantastic reed!
This reed works great! I do not have to prep the reed like I do with cane reeds; this plays right away!Awesome reed! Plays like any reed I have ever tried! Highly recommend this reed.

Not flat table
I tried both a Tenor Star 2.5 and Alto Standard 2.5. (I used them both on a Jody Jazz Jet 6 mp.)Good: they both sound good, providing a bright but not too bright sound.Bad: Both reeds angle away from the mouthpiece at the tip. On the tenor, this caused the tip opening to go from .095" to .125", roughly the same as going from a 6 to a 9 mp. I used to play a 10 when I was young, but now that is much too wide for me. The Bari requires much more breath and embouchure support than any other reed. I've never seen a non-flat reed before.If you are looking to increase your tip opening, but don't want to go to a larger mp, these might be worth a try.

Horrible
I know, I know, long term sax players hate synthetic reeds. That's true, but I use them (Venn & Legere). I was looking for something better, but really, these are horrible. You could make a 12K saxophone sound like a kazoo.
