Cuisinart Egg Central Egg Cooker

Told my daughter about this cooker and my son-in-law loves it !!!

I 100% LOVE this cooker! I get my eggs out and place them filtered water in a bowl on the countertop for about 20 minutes. Take them out and puncture the hole on the large end of the egg and put in the cooker. Set my own timer for 17 minutes because the cooker runs around 18 minutes. When the cooker goes off, unplug and with rubber gloves lift the eggs out and place them in large bowl of water with lots of ice cubes. I leave them in there for 20 minutes. What I really enjoy is the eggs don't have that ugly gray color on the yellow yolk. You do have to get them to room temp, never put cold eggs in the cooker. But even with room temp eggs and boiling them in water was always a hit and miss. This little cooker is perfect every time. I use medium eggs. Large will leave the gray on the yolks but medium size eggs are perfect everytime. And all the components fit inside the cooker which leave it organized which I love so they aren't scattered here and there. I have fallen in love with deviled and hard boil eggs again because this perfect beautiful machine makes it so much fun and easy to operated.

We love this, I only wish we didn't wait so long to get one, Hard, Medium, or soft boiled eggs perfect every time, so easy to use. If you are thinking about getting one, I would suggest doing it. We Love ours.

We purchased this egg cooker in June 2023 and it is not working well now in three months.

It's really nice and sturdy but the egg piercer is not sharp enough

Interesting item I never thought I needed but now I love. Makes the best hard boiled eggs for deviled eggs. No problem getting the shell off and no brown egg areas. I rinse the pan with vinegar for a sparkling result as it removes any water spots.

Love this piece of egg-making perfection! This thing is worth every penny because it makes eggs just about any way you could ever hope. Best part of the whole thing is that the shells peel so easily!! WARNING: the eggs are super hot when they come out, so becareful not to get burned by the steam or the hot-arse shells!! Seriously.Overall, this little gem is worth the money. I only gave a 4 star rating because the little egg piercer sucks, which is why I purchased the spring loaded one for ~$8. Worth it.
