A fabulous resource for young people
This is a beautifully illustrated book for young people, which explores a wide range of topics related to well-being. These include stress, anxiety, depression, bullying, body image, social media and many more. Each issue is explored over two pages. For example, the "Challenging negative thoughts" section provides some examples of such thoughts and short questions to ask as a means of challenging them. Similarly, the "Depression" section examines some key signs and symptoms along with top tips for times when the young person is feeling low.In contrast to longer and more comprehensive texts for parents and professionals, this short book is designed for young people and offers simple, practical advice for supporting well-being. It's a very useful resource to start the conversation with young people about various mental health difficulties and promote the need for self-care.

Highly recommended - a great book to share with your children to scaffold important conversations
I am reading this book with my son (10) and daughter (12) and it's been great to start conversations, increase understanding and reduce stigma linked to mental health. My kids have enjoyed the activities and the illustrations are great.
