To say its "thick" is a bit of a stretch, its not, but its really nice, warm and high weave density.

A light wool blanket
I would call it medium, not thick.I read other reviews, some mention that their blanket smells. Must vary, as mine doesn’t.Also that it is scratchy.I have another wool blanket that is scratchy; but this one is not as much. So again these must vary. With the itchiness, wool does itch. The more scratchier does itch more. So there is that.Also the wool blankets do shed. So I expect this one will too.However, I am happy. Would be even better to find a bit heavier blanket than this one in plain colour.

Forget synthetic throws. A wool throw is far superior.

Muy buena calidad, no pica. Llevo usándola muchos meses con lavados para lana y está como nueva. El color es más pálido que como se ve en la foto pero también es bonito.

Sie riecht so gut und hält wunderbar warm und sieht dabei auch noch echt schön aus. Was auf dem Schild steht, ist Programm, wenn man Wärme e und Liebe braucht, ist die Decke wunderbar zum Einkuscheln. Nur ein ganz wenig kratzig, aber das ist eben bei echter Wolle so.
