I’ve been tying flies for nearly 40 years. This is what wax used to be. I’ve tried them all. This is what you want.

I thought it was like a glue stick container...
...Or like the old Mennan (?) deodorants where you pushed on the bottom. But it doesn't move. I got frustrated and took a hammer to the container to get the stuff. Wax works pretty well.
