Bought as gift for my 'tankard mad' brother for this Yule, so I will have to wait to hear his thoughts, but I was impressed enough to buy a blue one for myself.

Fantastic mug, looks great and is easy to use.

Got mine today,, looks quality and good workmanship all around. Must say though I am a little dubious given some previous reviews and the handle falling off but hopefully this is not a systemic issue and if I take care it should last a good t while .I don't believe this is dishwasher safe and wouldn't recommend it.Makes a lovely cup of tea and keeps it hot until your ready to drink it.

This mug is excellent quality, being incredibly attractive & having a weighty & thick feel. It also holds a lot more brew - around one & three-quarters of a normal mug. The lid is very effective at keeping the contents warm. I've been using it for 3 months & haven't had any problems with the handle - I actually find it very comfortable to hold & like the texture of the wood.Initially I was a little sceptical of the infuser, as I've only used metal ones in the past. This one is ceramic with metal along the bottom only but still infuses well. The only thinking to be wary of is that it raises the water level more than a purely metal one would, so be careful when taking it in or out of a full mug.This is a great mug, which is a joy to use. it's so attractive that it would make a great gift.

My husband got me this tea cup for our anniversary. This cup is so beautifully made! It has a sturdy handle and a smart lid that can double as a coaster. Both the color and finish are really stunning and it’s easy to clean. The only drawback is that the cup itself gets extremely hot, so best to hold with the handle.

Visually appealing, easy to use clean and maintain. This is by far one of my best purchases on Amazon, I absolutely love it. I personally enjoy the inverted coaster use of the lid once steeping is complete and basket has been removed. I don’t know if that was intended or not but it works perfectly.My only flaw is the heat transfer to the lid/basket. Because it’s ceramic that heat transfer is almost instant so you have to be very careful when removing both the lid and the basket. A suggestion would be adding a strip of cork (or possibly food safe silicone) to the grip surface of both the lid and the basket if any updates to the product design were to happen.Overall, very pleased and am quick to share it with anyone I know who’s a tea drinker!

I've been moving away from coffee as I get older, I don't like coffee with anything added to it, just straight black. My oral microbiome has started to not agree with it, and I'm left with that unpleasant "coffee breath".I have been moving towards tea, and after playing around with tea bags for a time, discovered the superior tasting loose leaf tea. So then infusers were another necessity. But now I've found this mug and it makes my morning tea a real delight to look forward to.I especially love how the lid can act as a coaster for the infuser once you've stepped your tea leaves, this makes it so much more convenient rather than lugging along another dish to place the infuser on.I've owned this cup for a month or two maybe, and accidentally dropped the lid on to my tile floor and it didn't survive the fall and shattered. To say I was bummed out is an understatement.Luckily I had been learning about the Japanese method of repair known as kintsugi, or golden joinery, and repaired it quite well, and now I actually love it even more!I liked it so much that I have purchased a second mug recently, so that if I want to brew a cup of tea for a guest and myself, we will each have these wonderful mugs!Yes, the infuser can get hot, right now it's not too big of a deal for me, my fingerstips have been building resistance the past couple of months, though I admit before they were acclimated, the infuser was very hot and I couldn't handle it and dropped it back in to the mug and then the tea overflowed. If it becomes a problem again, this is a very easy problem to solve by yourself in a variety of creative ways - totally a non-issue, imo.Wholeheartedly recommend this mug!

I purchased this for my sister (a real tea drinker) and she absolutely loves the cup. Great style and she loves that she can use loose leaf tea.
