MONSTER HIGH GARDEN GHOULS TREESA THORNWILLOW DOLL

First, I recommend buying at least two of the Monster High Garden Ghouls Winged Critters to go with this doll/playset. There are clips to hold two dolls (see my picture) and also a space where one small doll could sit. Treesa is such a creative doll. She has regular bendable elbows and wrists and normal hands with branches/vines growing off her lower arms. You have to use the button in her back (easy) to raise the green limbs on her back. She comes with (6) accessories: a purple flower, a pink flower, a pink moth, a black spiderweb, a green mini fairy, and an orange mini fairy. She wears black earrings that look like insect wings. Her top and skirt have a pattern of different insects. I haven't tried to take off her outfit or shoes. Her hair is in a cute side ponytail. There are two clamps in the back of the base that hold her legs securely. The smaller dolls also fit into plastic clips and can be posed to stand or fly. They come with mushroom seats that clip to their waists or can hang from Treesa's branches. It's a little difficult to get the playset bottom to snap shut but not a problem. This doll and playset will provide hours of imaginative play. Not for kids who still put small toys in their mouths. Please ask if I didn't cover something.

I got this for my daughter for Christmas. She hasn't been enjoying many of the remakes due to their cute features and poor quality{not articulate}. However she has been very excited about the garden ghoul line. I got this one hoping it would not disappoint...and it didn't!She is fully articulated with great skin details. Her outfit is perfection and the fact that she has branches extending from her arms and wings makes her feel special. At 14.5inches tall she is a sure bet to please any hesitant collectors.Side note the charms are poorly done- but I'm sure she'll treat them like jewelry. There is a playhouse included in the trunk however the furniture on the walls is painted solid green and brown making it look cheap.I have overlooked both because I feel the doll alone {without charms and stands} is a 5 star original doll from Monster High.

Absolutely amazing! Don't listen to the haters. This doll is so much fun. I got her this morning. The packaging is the new MH packaging. It is what it is. Do I love it? No. But, I throw it away anyways. The doll is beautiful. Her hair seems to have some product in the bottom of the pony tail that feels like gel but it softens with brushing. It is not as smooth as dolls in the past but still pretty and you can always wash it and add fabric softener to deal with that if it's an issue for your. Idc. She functions well. She's cleverly dreamed up and designed. We'll never regret this purchase.

I bought this doll and all the other dolls that go with it, it's such a beautiful set, your kids imagination can run away with this set.

I arbitrarily purchased her as I'm a longtime Monster High collector and always buy the first release of a new character. I had already decided that I wasn't crazy about her before she arrived because she looked more fairy-like than monster-ish and seemed a bit gimmicky. However, after removing her from the overly busy packaging and holding her in my hands, I fell madly in like with her! Her hair is long, silky and fuchsia w/ green streaks. Her entire body except for her face, has a wooden grain texture with little bugs, birds and carvings hiding within. Her ears are formed from leaves on a peculiar (but awesome) branch like headband that is permanently attached around the bottom of her hair line. She is taller than the typical MH fashion doll and grows even taller when you turn a key on her back. Unfortunately doing so also causes her to expand tree like wings. I wish the "wings" were removable as it's just too much coupled with her tree branch arms (my favorite thing about her). She's fully articulated so you can detail her poses. She's wearing a simple two piece outfit that opens when she's stretched to reveal her wooden torso. This would have been better had the outfit obscured the inner extension piece which is not-so-cleverly disguised as a tree trunk. I wish they instead invested in an amazing fashion outfit. Her shoes are (amazing) pearlescent green platform shoes comprised of roots and wrap around vine straps.Also included are 6 little decorative pieces to hang on her tree wings and a tree trunk base/doll stand. Again the hanging bits are overkill, but 3 of them are adorable tiny girl winged creatures that are fun to play with on their own. The trunk base has a face when closed and opens to reveal a little playhouse for the little creatures. Within it, Treesa's leg's and feet snap easily in and out of place, making a perfect doll stand. There are two doll mounts disguised as vines to hold and display 2 of the 3 new (soon to be released) small Garden Ghoul dolls. Weird there are only 2. I would have given Treesa 5 Stars had she not grown, sprouted wings and had a more detailed outfit.

The details on this doll is amazing. My daughter has been obsessed with Monster High since she was 4. (She is 10 now). She has over 200 dolls and she is starting to lose interest. She was really surprised when she got this doll because it is so different then the rest of them. It gets taller and it has all the fairy/bug things you can attach. Now she wants the little fairy dolls that go with her. If you have a Monster High fan then you can't go wrong with this doll.

Beautiful doll for the price. Will definitely be buying a second one soon enough! Packaging is astonishing and the other dolls in the Garden Ghouls line look great as well! We've been waiting the longest for this doll to hit stores, and we hope to see her soon at local retailers! But for now, it feels great to have her in-hand, not sure if to keep her boxed or take her out! She's a master piece! We love her outfit and all of the marvelous accessories she comes with! Thank you again Mattel! Monster High never disappoints!
