Create your own palette
Nice size with plenty of space for mixing colours. The central pan is removable revealing more space underneath. Comes with a 'thumb' loop although may be a bit heavy to use in your hand for long when filled with pans but haven't tried. Fits standard full and half pans. Would recommend adding a magnet to the bottom of each pan to raise them higher as I find the clips overhang the pan a bit but with some of mine, don't actually grip, but depends on the brand of pans as height seems to vary a little. All in all, delighted and have bought several in different sizes.

Compact and solid feel
The tin feels fairly strong. It’s exactly what I wanted. It holds 12 half pans snugly and you could add more with a bit of blutack if you needed. The middle frame rattles a bit once full so I have jammed it with a bit of blutack in the corner. It’s about the size of my mobile phone but thicker, obviously. Very handy for plein air painting

Useable but not worth the hassle
Too heavy, doesn't close properly, dents on it before I even opened the box. I really don't like anything about this and it was a waste of money for me.

A basic and sturdy palette
I used it for full pans. They fit fine but had to blutac the pan holder in the middle to stop it rattling.

Lovely little paint box
These little tins are such good value, considering the price well known brands charge for their paint boxes, you can’t go wrong with these. I’ve taken the metal pan holder out completely and can now fit 15 half pans inside (with the help of a blob of blue tack under each pan to keep in place) Perfect, not just for travelling, but for everyday use. It’s one of my favourites.
