Use for band practice and performances. If my band members speak up a little when talking I can hear them fine. I'm always surprised when I take them out how much sound they're blocking and I can hear all tones well. You need to push them in pretty far, I use a dab of KY. But you may need a smaller size than you think. They need to go in deeper than your earbuds. Will buy again. 'Stash can' is silly and not really big enough for these.

I am a professional musician, playing on the stage, in the 'pit', with both small and large ensembles. As a string player I needed to be able to hear what I'm playing as well as the other players all while cutting down on the loudness. I've tried several other ear plugs and found that they cut the sound down too much, sounded muffled, and where just plain uncomfortable to wear. These plugs are the most comfortable ones I've come across. I think you'd have to go to custom plugs to get the same comfort or better. Playing next to or in front of a piccolo or a trombone or timpani is no problem anymore now that I am wearing my Earasers. Oh, you can easily have a normal volume conversation while wearing them. I recommend giving these Earasers a try if you're a musician looking to protect your hearing while performing or just attending a loud music event.

We have tried so many different types and brands and these are the most comfortable and best ear plugs. Sometimes I forget I’m even wearing them. I’m on my 5th pair because I lose them 😫. But now I have found mini lobster clips so I can attach them to anything!!

I perform in several bands and sometimes the monitors are so loud it made my ears ring. A band friend told me he had a pair and I should try them. After a boggled delivery I started using them the day they were delivered. Ear ringing is over and I can enjoy playing in the band again. It should be noted that the earasers solved the problem however they do somewhat muffle the true sound.

It doesn’t lose any sound but it keeps you from having ringing ears after concerts and they don’t easily fall out of my ears and it seems like they just block the bad sounds. I’ve bought many pairs very good thing for music people. Just buy the specific wipes off the real website to clean them. Water makes it look dirty. :3

I always thought that people who wore ear plugs to rock shows were squares. Then I woke up one day with a loud and persistent ringing that (thank god) went away eventually. Reluctantly bought these and holy crap I had to write a review because the sound is so hecka good that I just cannot believe it. I wear foam ear plugs all the time and have worn foam earplugs while working around loud equipment growing up and expected these to be more or less the same as those. I am honestly shocked at how these are magically able to make music quieter without making it sound like muffled garbage.

You can actually play with themThese are the only earbuds I’ve used that I can still hear myself playing.They do color the sound a little bit and they don’t lower the volume as much as most.But it’s a compromise that is well worth it as I keep them in my ear and don’t pull them out after five minutes!

These are the most comfortable and have the best sound fidelity of any ear plugs I have used. And the fact that they come in their own carrier that goes on my key chain means I won't leave them in the wrong guitar case or forget them all together. These are my companions at any gig that has volume requiring attenuation.

I have tinnitus and hyperacusis , and rather than suffer while enjoying a night out I wore these to a club night. I certainly didn't perceive any sensitivity to those sounds that usually hurt (peoples voices when trying to talk over the music seem to be the worst for me). I possibly would have liked the perceived volume of the sound overall to be a little lower (Euro filters?), but it's really hard to judge based on the NRR and frequency attenuation info provided.They are, however, super comfortable and much better for sound that foam earplugs
