Had for 2 years, we use it year round in our garage, some things grow well, some don't. It takes some trial and error, research, and patience, and the instructions aren't really intuitive-- but for the price, this is by far the best deal for dipping your toes into hydroponics, and yields way more than some of the name brand units.

This is the worst. No instructions. A rubber mallet that broke on the second hit. Pieces stick together as soon as you get them in place making it a task to move them or make a correction. After all this frustration I’m trashing this crap.

The media could not be loaded. Vevor has excellent customer service. They communicate effectively through their website.The system needs to include more documentation and have more accurate photos.Though the picture shows otherwise, THIS system should actually have the drainage outlet opposite the side of the inlet on top. The pictures lack any signs or explanations of how the water flows. Each tier is supplied with water from within one of the corner tube pieces, when the water reaches the overflow on that tier, spill-over reaches the tier below. Even distribution of water/nutrient solution only works if inlet and outlet alternate sides down each layer.I recommend you use lubricant to connect all the pieces. You’ll find it difficult without this and potentially break pieces. Personal lubricant works. Maybe spit, idk. I used silicone.Be aware it’s difficult to drain all the water out and difficult to clean without careful disassembly. Do this in a place where you don’t mind getting water everywhere.But I can’t build a system like this for less money and I accept that it’ll be a chore to clean.

Very easy to put together but does require some strength in your hands.. the pieces have to fit very snug to prevent leaks. The water flows beautifully with the enclosed pump. Do yourself a favor and add liquid hydrophonics plant feeder. Also you will want extra 2" foam if you are starting your seedlings in the foam. Also grab a bag of the clay pebbles. I also added grow lights to my system. 6 total. 1 at both ends at each of the 3 levels. Not necessary though if outside in the sun. I would give it 5 stars, however, the included timer has tiny components and it is very hard for me to see. It remains unhooked.

Great product, however not for me. I'm far too impatient to get things to grow correctly :)

For a beginner in hydroponics this rack certainly serves its purpose. However, if you have issues with the contents upon ordering don’t expect any resolution from Vevor, and the item is simply to large and bulky to repack and return, leaving you, like myself, having to makeshift a part that is missing or damaged. In our case the port on the pump was broken upon delivery. We attempted to handle this with Vevor customer service, and after several conversations, and sending photos, we were able to get them to agree to send a replacement. We were told to allow 10-15 days. That was months ago. The replacement never arrived. And Vevor customer service now seems to know nothing of it. Idk if our experience is typical of this product or not. But just a heads up to potential buyers.

This was a waste of money. No instructions on how to put it together. Mine had a tube that was broken and they wanted me just to put tape on it. If I had it to do again I would have spent more $ and dealt with a more reputable company.

I’m just gonna come out and say I give this product a 10 star review. For the first time I was able to grow vegetables indoors the entire winter with the Vevor hydroponic growing system.I was so impressed with the first one. I bought a second one. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who would like to start a garden indoors throughout the winter.
