At first I really liked this stand. It's half the size of my other stand. I use the larger one for a 17" laptop, and it's perfect in that role. Since I wanted one for a smaller 15" laptop also, I thought I could skimp a few bucks and buy a cheaper one. I knew it was smaller, but I assumed that since the laptop was smaller, it would still work as advertised. Sadly that is not the case. The stand is very unstable, and collapses regularly, if my knee bumps the table, I have to touch a key, etc. I worry about this damaging my hard drive, if this happens while it's engaged. The only semi stable position, is the lowest, which defeats the purpose of the stand, to bring the screen to eye level. I think part of the problem is the design of the lip at the base that is supposed to cradle the laptop. It is a curved arc, not a rectangle. As such, there is little material actually touching the laptop, so not as much friction force to engage the laptop. I think if they would just change to a rectangular cradle that is also maybe a little larger, with rounded corners to prevent sharp edges, it would work much better. As is, I threw out the box it came in before I started having all the avalanches, so don't think I can return it. Very disappointed. Maybe I can work something out with the vendor and get one that isn't defective. Feel free to contact me, if you have any ideas.

I work in a call center where we have a lap top that plugs into a dock with 2 monitors instead of a tower. I bought one of these to elevate my lap top so it was closer to the height of my monitors and it is wonderful for that job!

I did like it but it was to small for my use good build

Mine is awesome been fine for over a month! My wife’s broke the day after delivery... so it depends on the laptop (mine is a lenovo thinkpad T440s, hers is a lenovo L430.)

I purchased this to use with my MacBook Pro. I like that it’s adjustable because I use it to elevate for video making and lower for practical use. It is very sturdy and comes assembled.

I like this product well enough to gain a better view of the monitor screen when I prop it up - thank you so much!

Just what my daughter needed for her laptop for long periods of use

The only problem I have had with this product is that the little feet are too thin to maintain contact with the table surface when the stand is at it's most vertical position. This is a super easy and inexpensive fix on an otherwise great product
